    Hey,

I have friend who has a 4 year old .ro domain.

I'm not that good at hosting, but I would like to know. Should he target Romanian market or go with the .ro domain in the English market.

    What do you guys think?

Why is this a hosting question?

Personally, I would only use it for English market if it's a vanity URL

    Thank you for the reply.

It's a hosting question, because the domain keyword contains "host". And he wants to get into the hosting business.

Its a lot more to it than that with just a domain name to get into hosting.

Really the domain name is maybe the last thing I would be thinking about if you are planning on starting a web host company.

A .com domain reaches better to the customers in the English market than other TLDs, though like my friend @nikchaing above suggested, go ahead if you consider it as a special url to you.

    I believe so too guys.

.ro is good for national market and to go into the English market he will need to use .com / .net domain.

Thank you for the replies guys!
