Hey everyone, so I had partnered up with one of my close friends earlier this year to create a niche marital site for muslims. I was basically doing everything on the technical side while he was supposed to do all the marketing. I'm not sure why, but whenever I partner up with anyone I get screwed, and so that was the case. I spent hours, days, months to configure everything the right way for this type of site since the original script we shelled out cash for was aimed at regular ol' dating. Making a site religiously correct I had to take out a lot of features and just make it more fitting for the people who we were aiming at.
With that said, he started jumping between other ideas, totally abandoned this idea, left me with all the server fee's and a website with no users or traffic but was pretty much ready to be tested and used.
Can this be sold at all? What should I do with it considering I don't have much funding left to run advertising for this thing? I know it had potential and still has potential as the market is ripe for this sort of thing, especially when people are looking for reliable sources going by the book in regards to this religion. OR am I pretty much SOL on it? No problem if that's the case I just wanted to get all the options I could or any advice.
