I won't be mentioning any service yet since the support say they will fix it but its frustrating as heck for me for what happened especially when their service is expensive.

A moderator here selling white hat package messed up by ripping off my money site articles and using it for their backlinks. I was effin surprise when I received my report. The support say they will fix it but I am not sure if the damage has been done. My ranking has actually dropped after using their service. Support said it can't be from them since most of their links are not index yet but at this point I am having doubts I can even trust them anymore.
Support seems to imply that it's not intentional but I don't know how could they even make an obvious mistake.

This is really frustrating and disappointing knowing that the service came from a "respected?" moderator.
How do you guys handle a bad link building service that you have bought?

They took your website's content and used it on other sites for link building?

Yes they did as in copy paste, but they offered to fix that mistake in a couple of days. The experience however is nerve wrecking. I am also not sure if its safe to fix those links in a couple of days as there are a bunch of them.

Any suggestion guys? Do you disavow them or just ignore and build more links when you happen to buy bad links.

Disavow, ask for a refund, ask for it to be removed, post an honest review. Its your choice.

It is really disappointing but you got to atleast get some compensation if you are very very sure that something went wrong with their service.

Yep, there is something wrong with their service and they did admit it. My compensation is a discount on my next purchase but with what has happened I am unsure if I want that anymore.

Asked for a refund but they said that deleting all of the links will be dangerous and it'll be better to edit the surrounding articles on the anchor text instead as such looks like no refund. :(

To top it off I am stressed out for the next few days while they work on to fix on the links to which I am not even sure I'll be satisfied with.

I thought that coming from a moderator and the high price. It would be safe and I didn't really do any further research but I was dead wrong.

Question guys, I've noticed most of the links built was done on one date. Isn't this dangerous? The support said that its ok since Google drip feds on its own anyway since they take time to index. Is this true?

Also is it really safe to just use 15 articles and build hundreds of links just base on it? Is duplicate content as a backlink really safe?

Duplicate content is duplicate content. However, if the articles are being fixed and fresh content is going to be posted then your money site should be fine. There are no immediate penalties of any kind by Google penalising your money site for links with duplicate content. However, it is always advisable to post links with fresh content and not even spun content. That said, if the service provider is changing the content within a few days, it should keep your money site all good. Drop in immediate rankings can be due to varied reasons ranging from finding new links to your competitors gaining links. So, few days are too early for any kind of assumptions.

Ha, if you say its a package from a moderator, then it is kind of obvious who's service it is since there aren't that many SEO packages with a moderator hosting it.

Guys, if you want to rank your site, go learn how to do it yourself and teach a worker how to do it. Will save you a lot of money and risk and it might also work even better. Just my opinion.

you seem to have a lot of newbie-ish questions that certainly makes you more unsuitable to try out such paid link building services. I don't sell anything here, but I make sure I understand enough before I buy any services for my sites. If I understand your post , they used your content to create articles that point to other sites? Why would you get penalized instead of those other sites?

No they used my money site articles as backlinks to point on my site. Support said they are now trying to fix it. I made a jump and didn't do much research because as I've said the service came from a moderator so I made a huge leap of faith.

Thanks for this, is it considered a common practice to use like 15-18 original articles then build around hundreds of links from it? Like it won't be duplicate content from my money site but itll be duplicate "backlinks" with each other pointing to my money site. I know its not possible to write hundreds of unique articles but kind of want to know if those are safe. Thanks

To be fair said moderator slaps his name as the OP on BSTs to bolster the service's branding when it's really someone else in charge of the actual service.

True. This will make everything seem more trustworthy. The seller might even be reselling for a higher price using the moderators name so that people will still fall for the high price because the OP is trustworthy (since mod).

Not bashing on the mod though, u do your job well.

Ask the provider to delete the content that they ripped from your site. In case they built any links using duplicate content those need to be disavowed. As for now, you need more clarity on how they want to fix the situation.

What most sellers do - Take content from your website, spinned it and use it to build links to your website.
Since the links has not been indexed yet, you don't have anything to worry about. Just allow them to 'fix' it and you are good.

This makes a lot of sense. Its possible that the support I am talking to is actually the owner. Still though mod's name is still being used so I would trust that the mod trust the guy that much to use his name.

What if its around 18 original articles built by them and then they used those articles again and again to built around hundreds of links? I knew about their method before purchasing because the support said those are safe. He said as long as its not spinned then its safe. I am now no longer sure about it.

Thanks man, could it be possible that one of their "content writers" was new and don't know how to spin a content, made a goof and thought it was already spunned but ended up copy pasting it instead. This would mean however that they are lying to me from the very start when they promised me they dont use any automated software. Argh!!!
To top it off, their sales page said that they use native US articles. It's entirely BS though when their samples itself already have broken english. Indian based writers at best, I would have let it slide if that's the case. Knowing now however the possibility that they are spunning content and lied to me from the very start its starting to make me mad. I know about spunned services and I could get those at a far faaarr cheaper price.

Is it possible to dispute this on Paypal?

Why would you use a BTS service on your moneysite?

It's wrong. There is absolutely nothing you can do about it. But to be on the safe side, you should probably ask the seller, to spin contents and replace them, or simply delete it. citing that you don't want refunds.

I was promised no spunned content and white hat service as such I dont find it acceptable to spin it as a quick fix. There are cheaper service out there that does this.
I would have let it slide if this cost a few dollars but this cost hundreds of dollars thats like throwing away a month worth of my salary.
Ill just probably wait and see how they are.going to fix this
