    Dear friends,

My name is Figo Hu, I was born in Hunan province, China. My father was a very literate high school history teacher, so I grew up nurtured by a deep culture. I love my motherland, love my fellow.

Hundreds of years, the impression of China to the Western world are sick man of Asia, nevertheless, the weak China is unlikely to cause suspicions of the Western world. But, when new China was born, completely breaking the Western concept. The gap between ideology and social system, leading to the Western bias against China, no matter what field. This is not a harmonious world can be tolerated.

As an ordinary Chinese, I am deeply sad! China has 5,000 years of history, China has not always been aggressive, Great Wall is the best witness. China?s Confucian culture admiring peace, hard-working Chinese people particularly happy to enjoy life. Why does the Western world don?t take an objective look at China?

I think the Western world should understand the Chinese culture, Chinese people, remove the bias, then the world will live in harmony. So I created this blog(amazoninthebox.com) to spread traditional Chinese culture, spread the goodwill of the Chinese people!

    God bless this world!

    Figo Hu

Where are you getting this information from? Some propaganda department?

I can't speak for every American, but within my circle of educated friends we think the Chinese are hard working, kicks our asses regarding education and will probably become the next global superpower. Everything we own is made by the Chinese. We admire you guys.

I can't speak for this countries policies against China, but c'mon - North Korea (circa 1953) was a bitch for both sides. We're certainly not pissed at the Germans or Japanese anymore. :)

For a minute there I thought you were going to ask us to help you to hide the fortune your dad made by allowing us to open an account and let you deposit 10 billion dollars into it...... etc. etc.

Anyhow, I really admire Chinese history and culture. While I don't agree with the way they violate human rights on a consistent basis, I love it how your country told G00lg3 to eat a big fat peeny and put them in their fuggin place. It's nice to see a country with balls still exists.

It's nice to meet you Figo Hu and welcome to BHW! :D

I think this is posted in the wrong section.

Yeah, I dont have anything against the Chinese People (I'm American). Keep in mind that this 'bias' and 'animosity' between countries is usually between governments and perptuated by the media. It is very rarely a dislike for their people or cultures of said country.

My Chinese brother dont believe what your government and media is telling you, and I will keep doing the same here in America. Then the people of the world will eventually better off. Much love!

thanx for your reply,I am a military fan, I read the political news from the foreign media. Such as Hong Kong's media, U.S. media, British media and so on. I think Western people are the politicians stick, when the government wants to suppress the Chinese, they usually perform on stage. You may recall that the Olympic torch relay in France experience. Olympic Games should not be political in nature, it has nothing to do with the Chinese government, but on behalf of the Chinese people, even if I hate our government, but I do not like others to interfere with our own affairs.

I salute Chinese people. Wherever they are, they make a good living. They do business and sometimes conquer the economy (like Malaysia & Singapore) even they are not the origin. They are like an Eastern Jews.
