hahaha some of your make me laugh. 8k requested. Waiting for a reply. I can't tell you the hosting , because it will ruin my case. If I get compensated, then I can't slander them publicly.

Wouldn't they offer $500-1k and up to even $8k to the current owner to get the domain back?

the trend is already past, we missed all sales. This happened a few months ago. This domain is not relevant at this unit in time. We might accept it though but with compensation of past losses.

So what provable financial loss have you suffered from or is just your research time? You still haven't explained how they sold it by accident.

I was mass selling my domains via live chat. They included a domain that i did not mention in the list. It screwed up our business plans. We already had investors willing to invest in that project for that country. I had to change target country because of that .

So you only have a potential profit that you might have made. Not a chance in my country (UK) with any sort of claim like that unless you could prove a loss of income and not a loss of potential income. You would not be able to prove that having that name was the only reason it would make money.

Sounds like extortion to me. If you wanted to negotiate you shouldn't have taken the $200. Anyway, do keep us posted on whether they give you more money. My bet is they won't.

It's not shady at all, just a genuine mistake that can happen if you're selling lots of domains via live chat.

So if You catch premium domain name which You need to start project and hosting company just take from You and sell for somebody else is not shady? For me its sound same like godaddy scams with domain prices ;)

You valued the domain worth yourself no need ask for the 100$, i think it will just make you a foul. unless the is very special and has good standards. if the company based in the US as maybe you too. sue them. you probably make more $$$$.
