One year before i sold a site and the new owner never made a post, or never changed the ads. He only added some links

Then his site got hacked and is hacked till now (from months :) )
Is too bad for me because i was still earning from this site

I sold a site for $4,800 about a year and a half ago. I helped him change the ads to use his own but he never changed the login info. I login and put some of my ads back up in places and have even sold links on the site. I made about $65 from it this past month just from a couple ads. Not a lot but damn it's easy money.

Also sold a forum a few months ago for about $1k. I'm still an admin and manage the site with my own ads. The new owner has an adsense unit on thread pages for unregistered guests but that's it. He hardly ever logs in. It's like it's still my site except I don't pay server fees or anything.

I also sold a website for $1k about a year or less ago and the only thing the owner has done is put up a small banner to a MRR product. Everything else is the exact same (links to my site, affiliate links, affiliate banners). I seriously don't understand why these people buy these sites in the first place. Must have tons of cash lying around or something.

Some people prefer spending money instead of doing the initial work of site/link/content building themselves. If the site is proven to be doing money, as long as the buyer has the time to keep promoting the site, or even make it grow and increase the revenue, it usually ends up being a very good purchase long-term.

I sold a site for $700 that the guy for 2 months did not change my link. Then when he did he never put his own back in place. Why can he not just put mine back now lol.

Would someone mind to show us noobies an example of a page you sold for 500+ ? I always wounder how such a side would look and what criteria it rly has to fulfill. I mean i've read a lot of flipping ebooks but I would still like to see an authentic example

if you take a look at what kind of sites are being sold at flippa, that should give you a good idea of what people are looking for. people are even selling autoblogs that can be made in a few hours for $150+ each. also, you can always ask the seller all the questions you want and copy everything that works for them. dont actually buy anything though.

Its common sense ....if someone is buying site i am 100% sure that he is not much technical to change any thing from the site that's why he prefer to buying a site rather than creating by himself ....he need someones help to make the changes

I sold a few sites over the years that the new owner has just let the domain drop even though they have spent thousands buying the site. I've found from chatting to people after i've sold them a site that 99% of people that buy sites in the $10 to $5000 range wouldn't even know how to login into adsense, let alone edit href anchor text.
