A good question about AdWords...

Is there a way to insert a geo-targetted placeholder in AdWords text ads?

Say suppose I select USA as a geographic target, but I want my text to customized by state.

Eg. an ad such as...

Make 10k This Weekend
Part-time Work, Full-time Income
Training Seminar in [STATE]
hxxp://www*mydomain*com

Then I want if someone sees it in New Yor then [STATE] should be replaced with New York.

Is there a way to do this in adwords?

not possible... sorry... you have to build campaigns, target those and change the ad for the region... but you can use a tool like speedppc or excel to do this procedure quite fast
