    Intro

Hey everybody, I've been lurking around this forum for many years. I would make a little money here and there but never sat down and focused all of my efforts to make money from this type of thing. I think I have a pretty good base of knowledge but without putting it into action it might as well be any other trivia. From reading around this seems like it is a common symptom of having so much good information floating around. People like to call it paralysis by analysis but I just refer to it as being lazy.

This is my main reason for starting this journey thread. It?s my belief that public accountability in a forum of my peers will push me to new extremes of productivity and gains. Expect updates for every day of The Challenge.

The truth of the matter is that I don?t have time to play around anymore by reading countless threads, browsing reddit , and checking facebook. I just got laid off from my job and a week later my girlfriend left me so my time is wide open. I know that if I don?t get something working for myself I?ll end up in some manual labor job barely scraping by while my body goes to shit.

    The 90 Day Challenge

Three Methods - Creativity - Grit

For the next 90 days I will focus all of my effort on three methods.

    1. Youtube/CPA(focus)

After all the other successful youtube journey threads I couldn't resist. This is going to be a big learning process for me. I have a couple of niches picked out and 60 youtube accounts from fivver.

1st Week Goal: 1000 videos on youtube by next Tuesday.

    2. Authority Site

On the backburner I have an authority site that I have been neglecting. By all my analysis this site could be a very sound investment with a little love. First I need to build up some quality content then I have to backlink like crazy. SEO is such a highly sought after skill right now I really would like have alot of knowledge in this field.

1st Week Goal: 10 articles on the authority site by next Tuesday.

    3. ???????

This method is up to you. If I get enough recommendations for something feasible I will gladly throw my whole weight behind it and share the results with you guys.

If I fail for whatever reason to make a consistent average of $350 a week in 90 days my life will be drastically worse.

It might seem like a waste of time to read the thread of a self admitted noob but I hope the people who do become interested can glean whatever value there is in this thread to help them enrich their lives. It?s my goal to write this thread not as cold as a spreadsheet or as mushy as a livejournal entry but somewhere in between. Please , as marketers , respect my decision to keep my niches private.

Thank you for your time and I hope to see you along the journey,

    Gleeman

    Motivation for the week:
Don't give up what you want most for what you want now.

Just want to say good luck! Also I wanted to suggest a method I read on BHW that you might be able to put some time into. The post or thread rather was about contacting sites who are currently using google adwords(search for say flower shops in california) and copy all the sites that show up in the ads section. Then contact those sites and offer them a mobile site, outsource the mobile site to fiverr. Im sure you can come up with several twists but the basic idea is to contact current site owners and outsource a mobile version of their site. I think the guy said he was charging 49 per mobile site and would pay someone on fiverr $5 to build them.

How are you going to monetize your authority site?

16 videos per account is far too many. No more than 7 or you run the risk of all your YT CPA work being for nothing.

Congrats on going for it! Maybe pick up a part-time gig though so if things don't work out, you aren't in that "worse" spot 90 days from now. It will help and still leave you plenty of time for your IM.

My thoughts are... on method 1 maybe change cpa to clickbank as the commissons are higher and I see alot of people converting well with your technique.

method 3 I would suggest what the other poster says... build a MNS and offer a service that you've already found on fiverr for $5.00. Charge 49.99 on your MNS or whatever price and when you get a sale, outsource to the fiverr gig.

    Good Luck Again!

    Day 1

Hey everybody ,thanks for the support, wanted to give a quick update for the first day. Got a couple hundred videos downloaded and ready to go. I actually got a lot less work done today then I originally planned. It seems I might have made a bit of an ambitious goall to have 1000 youtube videos worth of blogs and accounts up. I'm going to be working late into the night tonight to try to get on schedule and hopefully get a little breathing room tomorrow.

    SEO

My planned authority site slept vacant. I'm going to take this one kind of seriously and honestly can't wait to be done with youtube to really make something of value. I have to pay my dues though

-t3ch Its funny you mention that method because I already have a site built for it. I just felt like I was ripping people off asking for $50. I might try it again going for something like $25. I already have the site up so I should probably use it.

-Michaeler Adsense is looking promising but there is definately room for affiliate programs.

-Krazy Kitty I was thinking about how many videos to split up between accounts. I figured this would be an important metric but I have a theory that it might be the time between the uploading of the videos that might set off red flags. I'll try to test this out.

-Hammed Thanks, Im not going to stop looking for work. I am getting unemployment funds each week which I am really grateful for. I have just about enough to do exactly what im doing. As for cpa, I will try out clickbank when I get cpa off the ground. Hopefully in about two weeks.

Thanks for the replys everybody. It is really motivating for me. I'm going to try to get a few hours of shut eye and get back at it. This update is a little terse but I right now I need to spend more time doing than documenting.

    Good luck man.

Personally, I have never had any interest in CPA offers and content locking and so forth. It just seems like endless work.

Authority sites on the other hand? Now that's interesting.

tip:: Since you are now without income, stop spending. Like totally. Cancel your cable and sports channels, stop eating out, etc. In short, the less money you spend, the longer your runway will be. And having been there a few times, I can tell you that every little penny counts.

Request:: Please don't use purple in your posts. Incredibly difficult to read. :)
