If push comes to shove I want to have something to fall back to so I'm deciding to give Kindle another shot.
The last time I was selling on Amazon was around two years ago and I earned around 500$ in nine months of work.
I gave up as the money just wasn't worth my time.
Sadly, I deleted all of my books in the Kindle store and disposed of the books themselves, no idea why I did that, probably just frustrated at the lack of sales.

To not delay things any further, here are the main pros and cons of fucking with Kindle

    PROS
-Once you upload a book, cover, keywords, you are all set and the money is TRULY passive as you don't have to do anything else.
-It's free to do so no initial investments required
-They accept all niches, even adult ones, just no bestiality, rape, etc.
-They are the biggest online book retailer on the planet so if you draw the lotto numbers you can earn some mad cash.
-It takes only 48 hours to get your book online.
-Books that are performing WITHOUT any sort of paid promotions tend to do so for a long time (One book was netting me a consistent 30$/month)
-KDP Select let's you give out your book for free or lower it's price tag (with the original price being crossed out and the promoted price being shown, I like that!)

    CONS
-Takes so much fucking time to write the books yourself if you don't have a ghostwriter
-2010-2012 were the golden days of Kindle, now people expect a 100k words masterpiece for 0,99
-Books that are not properly formated/have bad grammar are not even touched, you will never sell a piece and if you do, it will get returned almost immediately.
    -It's oversaturated as fuck
-If you want to write nonfiction you better give up now unless you are the Gordon Ramsay of cooking.
-If you got no initial money to invest, it can take months to get your book ready.
-No matter how well the book is written, the niche is researched or the topic covered, some books will never sell despite your best efforts.

    NEUTRAL
-Amazon crawlers work in mysterious ways, for example I had a book that was just laying dormant for six months and out of nowhere it sold six pieces in two weeks without me changing anything.

Now that we got that out of the way, let's take a look at my plan

    -Publish five books a month.
    -All books over 50k+ words.
-All books enrolled into KDP Select
    -All books priced at 2,99$
-All books promoted 30 days from publishing (for 0,99$)
    -No sort of investments

    Estimated journey length: Three years
    Journey started: 08/06/2017

    Current Stats (19/06/2017)

    Books Published: Three
    Money Earned: Around 6,5$
    Best Performing Niche: Romantic Comedy
