All,
I am actually after a free tool to read competitor keywords and what they rank for. Is there such a free one? I know Ahref does this well, But for someone with zero budget, ahref is way above my zero budget :)
Please don't get me wrong about freee loading, its like most of us all have bills going out. I have something called SEO Meat copy, but that shows if there are any KW within the header.

while I am at it asking this, does someone know when inspecting a webpage (I use the SEO Meta copy), it says missing keywords? I have a gut feeling its there. but where!!
I don't think they dismissing the tags, are they? What I mean by this is I remember we used to say keyword stuffing, we tended to add so many keywords that G went mental. 90% of the pages I inspect do not have keywords. it cant be and it must be somewhere. Has this been inherited from somewhere? also, appreciate if someone could shed light on this.
thx

Not aware of such free tool. Additionally, it's not logically feasible for a tool to find out all the keywords that a site rank for free. Because determining the keywords a website ranks for would involve resource-intensive processing. Such analysis typically relies on data from paid subscription services like Semrush or Ahrefs.

Uber suggest free account can give you access same with semrush but you'll only be able to see few keywords and you can't narrow it down to individual pages.

Another option that comes close is using Ahrefs' free traffic checker tool >>> https://ahrefs.com/traffic-checker

You can play around with it to get some keywords from your competitor. But just know that it'll never be the same as a paid tool.

Wow, thank you guys for the tips. Awesome info. Just out of curiosity. How do they pull those keywords from those individual domains/pages?
Because if you edit the HTML page, you will not see them. It must be coming from somewhere. I do not have a website of my own to research. the one I have is not raking at the moment (I expect that at the moment, and that's the only one I have at the moment :))

You can try Screaming Frog Spider or Google Keyword Planner Tool, but they are limited, and the results are not valuable for you. It's better to buy a paid one like Semrush or Ahrefs to check your competitors' keywords.

SEMRUSH may help you to solve your this issue,I use it for finding out bonding domains, for finding competitors, for topic research and keywords research

There's no FREE tool that does exactly the same thing like those paid SEO tools.

I use custom coded bots myself for this purpose alongside SERPSTAT LTD.
Not as quick as those paid SEO tools because the data is collected & analyzed in real-time but, it does the job.

SEMrush is primarily a paid tool, but it offers a limited free version so you can read competitor's keywords.

Why don't you buy SEO tools on group buy, I bought a tool with several items like semrush, gpt4, Uber suggest, moz etc and it was in my currency, approx $3
