It's not rare that people take a big loss after putting all their eggs in one basket. Here's some guidelines I utilize to prevent my micro niche sites from being deindexed/banned. They may be common sense for some, but clearly not for others! 1. Create a custom logo/for your site. Got a MNS about dogs? Then throw up a logo with your site title and a picture of a dog. It doesn't require much skill, and you can even pay someone on fiverr to do the job. 2. Manually change your meta description. I bought a batch of sites a while ago and found that they all had (poorly) spun meta descriptions. Eliminate all foot prints. Be creative so your description on the SERPs doesn't look like something a bot created. 3. Engage in the social web! I paid for pingfm account creation on 10 sites including facebook, twitter, identi.ca etc. Then forward your RSS feed to ping.fm and post to all these sites. Not only can it give your backlinks/blog posts some extra juice, but it looks legit. Linking to your twitter page with a twitter badge makes your site look a tad more genuine. 4. Spread your sites over several Adsense accounts. Set up an account using variations of your name, linked to address of family members or close friend. Use 15-30 sites on each account. That way, if Google still decides to shut you down, you haven't lost everything.
