Hi guys,
hope you're doing well today. The year 2015 is nearly over, so I thought I will give something back to the community.
I'm a member of this forum since a few years now and could pick out some real golden nuggets in that time. I've started as an overwhelmed noob/beginner myself and it took a long time to break through the nearly never ending circle of frustration on making money on the internet. I've tried many ventures, a few of them were really great like DropShipping, local SEO or CPA marketing. I had my ups and downs with those one and on the same site I had some really big problems with them: IT'S NOT IN MY HAND! e.g.: DropShipping: I have to rely on the wholesaler or manufacturer. It's no in my hand if he delivers, handle customer support, handle refunds, etc. local SEO and SEO in general: Well, I don't have to explain that one I think. :O If Google is funny they will penalize your site and you've lost a full income stream. (Got some sites deindexd with completly white-hat SEO which took me months to rank for NOTHING) CPA marketing: I really enjoy CPA marketing because it's a HUGE market. People are killing it with CPA but it seems that it's just not MY business model. After finding some profitable campaigns you have no guarantee at all to keep it profitable. You have hardcore competition with Spy tools, etc. which are copying your campaigns without thinking about it,... And you have to rely on a CPA network as well on the payouts, so... IT'S NOT IN MY HAND.
I've found my own way of making money on the internet like many other thousands of people out there are doing it every day: Product launching
You have your own product in place, you decide what will happen with it, how you price your product, how many up/down sells you are selling, which payment processor you accept, how to monetize your list, which kind of training you are going to produce,... Everything is up TO YOU. You don't have to rely on any networks, don't have to wait weeks or even months for your payout, etc.
I'm writing this post because it seems that people forgot about that business model a little bit. If you read through the "My journey" - section, nearly 70% of all the threads in the last couple of months are about amazon niche sites.
This year I've reached close to 100.000$ dollars (NET profit) with my own information products in different niches and I'm sure I can grow that business in the upcoming year approx. 30%. The scale opportunity is huge and in this case I can say: SKY IS THE LIMIT. So I want to motivate you a little bit and give you information about how I'm doing my stuff in the next couple of lines. There is something else like Instagram or amazon/adsense niche sites out there guys
:
1.) You don't need to be an expert but you have to be better than the average Joe in terms of knowlede. This step is important because your job is to solve problems and to give your future buyer value, value, value.
2.) Knowing your market/customer: What is the problem they have? Why are they looking for an solution? Being there and providing a solution for them is pure GOLD. They will pay for it, because they actually searching for it. It's just an internet traffic you have to convert into an active and long-term buyer. It's not something one-time and over. A few of my customers on my list bought nearly every upcoming product in the same niche. Netting me over 500$ per customer. Customer relation is the KEY here.
3.) Copywriting: Well, without a good sales page you won't convert anyone into an active buyer. Don't hestitate to outsource this part to an expert because it's worth every penny if you know there are active buyers out there. Think of the AIDA principle:
A - Attention: Get the attention from your customer: A convincing headline,...
I - Interest: Got the attention from your customer? Awake his interest with a Video Sales Letter or a standard text sales page with a few pictures
D - Desire: At this point, you have to carry on the bag
A - Action: Finally convert him into an buyer.
Of course, those steps aren't that easy but definitely doable.
4.) Customer support: It's really important to give a ground solid support to your customer. Don't try to neglect that part.
5.) Providing more information for free to your new customer. Building relationship. SELL HIM again.
6.) Your MINDSET: You have to stop thinking that you can't accomplish this stuff. It's doable, no matter what your brain says to you. Why do you think that every day hundreds if not thousands of products all around the internet are launched? I can tell you why, because they make money. It's in my opinion one of the fastest ways to make money online. Just don't be lazy and take action on that.
With this journey, I'd like to let you know how I'm doing in 2016 and give you some insights, numbers, case-studies, how-do's, etc.
So, it turned out that this thread got a little bit longer than I've expected. Anyways, if you have any questions, feel free to ask them. (I'm currently on my masters degree, so the response time could be a little bit longer. A lot of stuff to do here at the moment)
Best regards & have a productive day,
herzit
P.S.: As you have probably recognized it, english isn't my main language. Please apologize every grammatical and spelling mistakes.
