Growing following on Twitter for most IMers/People/businesses is a time consuming and slow process, but here are the tips and tricks I have used over the years to grow my Twitter following from zero to over twelve million. (Spread over hundreds of accounts of course).

Warning: This method requires reading. If you're not ready to read and learn then this method is not for you.

    Starting your accounts:

To understand how to grow followers on Twitter you have to understand all social media. Let me sum it up for you. Hot girls, celebrities, businesses, trends and more hot girls.

Once you realize that that is all there is to it you can make your first account. I am sure many fake IM's out there will tell me how wrong I am and how complex it really is and how much you need to pay attention to demographics and all that rubbish, but don't over complicate it.

Once you have made your first account (or second or 100th), you will want to give it a name, bio, description, location blah blah blah. Make sure the profile is fully filled out. This adds legitimacy to your account and makes everything you do on it look less spammy and more legitimate. Avoiding looking spammy is the most important thing here, you can spend forever building accounts, but if they have the wrong ratios of followers to engagements or look spammy you will never understand the power that Twitter marketing can bring.

    Growing from 0 - 1000 Followers:

The first 1000 followers on your account are easy to get, it should take no more than 5 - 7 days for you to accumulate them. If you are beginning then I would suggest doing all of the below steps manually.

    1. To accumulate followers on Twitter first of all you want to simply start following people. There is plenty of free software out there to do this. http://tweepi.com/ is what I use. Shameless shoutout to them as they are free and work really well.

Edit: Tweepi now only lets you follow 250 people a day. See comments for solutions.

    2. Each day you want to follow 500-800 people. To pick the people you follow look for popular accounts in your niche which follow between 10k and 20k and have less than 50k followers. Make sure you are following their following rather than their followers.

    3. Once you have reached the 5k limit of following you should begin to unfollow people. There is software out there for that too, all you have to do is google it. Unfollow up to 800 people who are NOT FOLLOWING YOU BACK each day. https://manageflitter.com/unfollow is what I use, but there is free alternatives.

    4. Throughout this time you want to continue to tweet whatever it is that your account is relevant too. If you are growing a social account or a personal account then try scraping content from other people's tweets. There are plenty of guides on how to do this on BHW, simply use the search function.

Power Tip(Trick): If you want to skip this first 0 - 1000 followers step then just skip below you can buy 1k engaged followers from the links below (or your own place - although make sure they are ENGAGED followers that will retweet you and like your stuff). If you are just starting out on IM or Twitter then I would suggest you follow the above steps to understand Twitter a bit better.

    Growing from 1000 - 10,000 Followers:

    1. This part of the process is the hardest part, and so stick with it. Continue following and unfollowing accounts in your niche.

    2. To boost your growth from 1k to 10k followers though takes a slightly more blackhat approach. Buying followers is largely looked down upon in the social media world and is in some cases very easy to see. To get away with it and boost your following effectively you have to understand when and why to purchase followers.

There are two types of followers you can buy:

    - Cheapest followers that you can buy extremely cheaply from $2 per 1000 or maybe even cheaper on BHW simply using the search function.

Here is who I buy from, they are $0.5 per 1000 and have never let me down (They deserve this shameless plug and you should go buy from them if you follow this method when I suggest). http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...k-yt-views-0-8-per-1k-twitter-0-8-per-1k.html

    - Cheap premium USA followers that you can buy from $9 (That's the cheapest I have found them)

Here is who I buy them from, they are $9 per 1000 and to understand the added cost you have to understand the service that you are getting. They will provide followers which are engaged and so retweet your tweets and like them and stuff. (Another shameless plug to them and you should buy from them as they also have never let me down) http://www.skingdom.com/search/label/Twitter Followers

    3. To buy followers you want to make sure you are getting a good number of retweets and Likes first. If you are not then the content you are providing is not engaging enough and you should stream line it and provide better content. Once your content is good and each tweet is getting 1-10 retweets and 1-10 favourites (likes) and you are on around 2k followers from following people you want to start buying followers.

    4. The first purchase of followers you should buy is the $0.5 for 1000 followers. Simply order 1000 followers and boost your follower count to 3000. At this point you want to start unfollowing people like crazy, get it down to sub 200 following and 3000 followers.

    5. Remembering the follow the crowd mentality that essentially drives Twitter you then want to start buying REAL retweet and like packages. You can buy them anywhere but if you go for a cheap place you'll probably get cheap retweets and likes that will be removed and so here is where I buy them from. http://www.skingdom.com/2016/02/100-real-twitter-retweets-100-real.html You don't want to buy more than 100 or else it will look ridiculous and fake. The aim of the game here is to make it look real and very popular.

    6. Try and limit tweeting to 2-5 tweets per day spread out well over the day and with engaging content. For each tweet you want to buy a package. Yes spending $1 per tweet might sound like a lot, but trust me it will pay off in the long run when you make $10 per tweet and can tweet as much as you want to your engaged following.

    7. Now at this point you have a choice. Either continue following and unfollowing people and buying retweets and likes till you hit 10k followers and are following less than 200 people or buy followers in a ratio of 1:1 engaged $9 per 1000 and $0.5 per 1000 bundles. The slower process reaps pretty much the same benefits as the faster one and so the difference is minor at best.

    8. Make sure to continue tweeting at least once a day and buying retweets for it so that if someone comes onto your account it will look engaging and popular!

Growing from 10,000 Followers to 100,000

    1. This part is the interesting part where you start making money. At around 10,000 followers you want to stop following people and unfollowing people, make sure your following is at sub 200 and you have retweets and likes on all your tweets.

Now, take a step back and look at how it is going. You should have an account with 10,000 followers, following less than 200 people with engaging content and tonnes of retweets and likes on every single tweet. Yes this may have cost more than buying cheap followers and retweets, but what you have here is a strong account build that will not get banned for spam and looks like, to the outsider, a genuinely popular account.

    2. Now you want to start gaining followers by tweeting. Start tweeting things like:

"Following back for the next half and hour everyone who retweets this and follows me"
"Retweet this and i'll follow you up until the limit"
"Retweet this and follow me and I'll follow you back"
"Shout me out and i'll retweet all your tweets"

    etc... you get the idea.

    3. You should start to gain followers if you are getting a good number of retweets and likes on the tweets, if you are not then hop on over to a buyer and get buying retweets and favorites. Make sure they are good quality retweets though, don't skip on quality or you will end up regretting it.

    4. You want to keep tweeting this for a week or so up until you are at 20k followers, it will happen faster than you think. If it happens too slow you can buy fake + engaged followers from BHW or any other place. You've seen where I buy from up above.

    5. Once at 20k followers you should really begin to see the rate of followers increase. Popularity is something that grows in its self. Once you start the ball rolling it multiplies and your following grows faster and faster. At any point you can supercharge the process that normally takes a good month or two by buying more followers. Make sure to buy in a 1:1 ratio of engaged and fake followers or your account will end up looking fake.

    6. I tend to end up buying 5k engaged more and 5k fake more to take me from 70k to 80k followers. For some reason this seems to be a big psychological distance in growth and tends to take lots of time.

Growing from 100,000 Followers to 200,000

    1. This is the part where it comes down to you. If your content is good and you are providing a good service to your followers then you will see growth beyond 100k as far as your content will allow. However if you are not getting 100+ organic retweets and likes at this point you need to seriously consider your content. Spammy content only goes so far.

Thank you for reading my guide, feel free to drop me a message if you have any questions or want to know some of my more BH methods to supercharge growth.

Just to let you know, the limit of following by using Tweepi are 250 following per day if you are using the free version. So, how can you follow 500-800 people with the free version?

Thank you very much! Hope it serves you well.

Hey there, sorry I have not used them in a long time as I now use TSupremacy (They are worth a look, but they do cost a monthly subscription and so should only be bought if you want to grow 5+ accounts at a time.)

Here is what I would suggest... Follow the following numbers on the following (free) services if you are not willing to splash out on TSupremacy or another alternative:

    Follow:

    Tweepi (250) tweepi.com/
    ManageFilter (50) manageflitter.com
    CrowdFire App (50) crowdfireapp.com

I just quickly googled that and so you can manage to follow 350 people a day no problem. If the worst comes to the worst just buy TSupremacy or manually follow people if you're doing just one account.

It's a good guide, the only thing I wouldn't recommend is buying followers so early. They're a good buffer, but not at 2k followers. You would have to have really good engagement to do something like that. Like, above average engagement. Aside from that, I give your guide a thumbs up.

Interesting guide. Could always use the money that you would use to buy followers to make new accounts + send traffic from those accounts to main

Thank you very much for the support. I suggested buying followers at such a low number too boost your account early on, especially if you buy high quality ones like the ones I suggest in my guide.Whereas later on when you are at 100k followers you tend to gain followers so fast that it doesn't really matter if you buy 20k or not. Also, you can buy followers like I suggested in my article that retweet your tweets and stuff and so actually boost your engagement rate.

That's a very good point, however when it comes to investing money I always have to look at the time it takes and the cost to get someone else to do it.

To set up proxies, register accounts and all of that, to me as a University Student writing 3 essays a week, is simply not worth the time. I would prefer splash out $10/20 and save a couple of hours. If you have the time however then by all means you could create accounts....

Looking back I think that this is the main problem with this at the moment and I am looking for solutions.

Thank you for the guide. Some really good points.
Skingdom has some weird pricing. It is cheaper to buy the smallest product 20x than buying the biggest package.

Yeah, Tweetdeck works really well, I've never used it but quite a few IMers that I know use it.

I actually realised this a while ago, but didn't put this in the guide as I was wondering if anyone else would pick it up. If you're getting a good service like I do from them I tend not to complain about the price ;)

Great guide OP, I've been using SKingdom for ages now and i didn't think anyone else knew about them. Do you have any advice on how many tweets I should send out every day?

Depending on your niche I would send out between 1 and 5 tweets a day. Try not to flood the market, that's what people tend to do wrong. No one wants their timeline filled with hundreds of tweets from the same person. Yes in the short run the spamming will get you clicks, but soon you'll be flagged as spam or blocked.

Sorry, forgot to mention. I tweet 3 times a day on all my accounts. I've tried everything from 1 to 100 tweets a day and 3 works the best for me.
