Just in the last hour I reported 3 threads breaking the BST rules. Those are unwanted threads and hence should be reported immediately.

I see many people keep posting and mocking with the op but that's not the professional way to handle it. By doing that, you are bumping the thread for more visibility and at the same time burying the quality threads or ones worth reading. I'm finding this site more boring to read due to those incidents, I have to weed out tons of crap.

Please, save us wasted time, just report those shitty threads. You don't need to spell out the rules to the op, every site has a set of rules and those breaking them have no intention of reading them. I'm sure mods issue infractions with a reference to the rules, so there's no need to feed the trolls and build hatred. Just report and steer away.

    Thank You...

and inb4 funny man mocks with my avatar.

OP I hear you out, and indeed report many threads nearly every day...

So with all that going on imho unwanted threads are par for the course...

I think it's also important to post the reason the person is in the wrong. If you simply report he thread, the generally new member won't know the reason for their thread being deleted and will simply post the same thing again.

A few days ago, one guy posted a giveaway of 4 fb fan pages in the giveaway section. Later the same guy started discussing JV strategies for the same pages by adding interested people on skype. Many fell for the giveaway thing (even me). This way the op saved himself from getting a JV thread approved by a mod and got a JV deal.

When I did a bit of research on the OP, he posted a similar thread around 3 months ago, asking for monetization ideas for his pages.
He was severely bashed by a few "ESTEEMED" members for trying to sell fb page out of BST section then.

I think these kind of threads must be identified and reported.

I saw that. He copied a post that a banned member had copied from earlier in your thread. Definitely a suspected scammer and definite spammer in my mind.

Exactly. I can't help but think that the guy who got banned for copying a post from my thread created this account.

He or she is gone now and the spam has been removed.
I agree but at least he's gone now and hopefully his IP will have been blocked too.

I agree with steelballs, BHW community is really a big spot in the internet. But as soon as every clever member take actions by reporting suspicious/braking rules threads, members and even posts it does care for all community. What im trying to say is that Report button is made for that reason and we cant fight with such problems in other different ways because we have new members every day, new opinions and etc.
I bow my head for those who are trying to make others to follow BHW rules. Rules are for everyone, no excuses and im happy to see such threads.

    when in doubt, report. :)

if multiple people report something it usually gets dealt with faster.

Mods sent out an infraction to the users breaking the rules and most of the times, the user wants know why he got infracted and so the reason is stated there.

If it is simply a post in the wrong section it will be moved but I don't an infraction will be served and therefore it's safest to spend that one second telling them IMO.

Well, in such case the user should simply be informed that it's in the wrong section by only one person, there's no need for all the repliers to repeat the same thing. But this goes out of the scope of crap.
