I want have received a lot from this community and feel it's time to give something back... This blueprint is primarily meant for people new to the blog farm business and is introductory. I know these ideas are basic BH 101 but work none-the-less.

I have been in the blog farm business for 8-10 years.. I created and coded MyBlogVoice to provide me multi-user support well before the first release of WordPress MU.

I did this cause I have enjoyed the then power of blogger.com blogs but hated the rather quick rate of banning. So I figured I would be my own blog host to make sure I never get banned..

Anyways, that is my background... Here is a blue print for success for blogging:

The reason blogging is a powerful way of publishing is the simple fact that blogs autopublish to the world. They basically make pings to blog aggragators suchs as PingOMatic, etc... Each post gets you instant deep links which give you inherent PR (not much but get's you a little).

I have two sets of blogs... Money blogs and my seo blogs.. My money blogs contain my offers/affiliate links/adsense blocks and are the primary source of income. I tend to stay in general merchandise niches and many financial niches. Now, for most financial niches, it is pretty hard to rank for the short tail keywords.

But what I have found by accident is that when I used my seo blogs to link to my financial blogs I saw them getting long tail traffic for keywords I didn't even go for. Let's take payday loans for instance.. I was getting traffic for searches like no fax payday loans in minutes, long island cash advance locations, etc.. You get the picture. I found that I needed to cloak and redirect this traffic to my money blogs.

So basically, you need two types of blogs.. Money blogs and SEO blogs that get indexed and redirect to your money blogs.

Money Blogs

The money blogs need to look professional. These are your blogs that your affiliate manager will see. Any autogenerated content needs to be cloaked with human readable content being displayed. I disguise my auto generated content below the fold in the form of user comments and trackbacks. To the affiliate manager, it looks like I have a well intentioned blog getting spammed by those damn black hats..:) hehehe.

Anyways, put your offer/ads above fold and on a right or left panel. Then put your human readable content (2-3 sentences) right below this. Make it generic so that it looks good with multiple offers. Perhaps, put a question out there, saying you have heard great things about the offer and ask if it's as good as you have been told by friends.

Basically, make these blog look good to the human eye.

SEO Blogs

Now let's talk about your SEO blogs. These blogs are used primarily for ranking your money blogs. The look and feel of these blogs are really not important. They are used for SEO and ranking purposes only. Create unique posts on these blogs with both links to your money blog home pages and deep links to posts. Take advantage of your money blogs' RSS feed to create deep links to posts. Your posts to these blogs will get pinged and spidered and so will the money blog posts and home page.

If you can put a javascript redirect to your money blogs and if not, put a huge banner above fold that will try to capture a click that will direct users to your money blogs. I find that I get 25-50% of my traffic from my SEO blogs as I do from my money blogs. I call this ranking by accident..:).. and making money by accident...

DOMAINS

Domains are very important in blog farm generation. There is only so much juice blogs from a single domain can send to a given site. That is why multiple domains on as many IP's are critical for success. Any TLD is fine as I have never seen any difference with blogs on .COM's and .INFO's. I have heard a lot of talk trashing .INFO's but they have and still work for me.

Existing aged domains that have been indexed as a site are very valuable. Putting a blog on a site that has been indexed for 5 years will rank 100's of times faster than putting a blog on a new domain. You can buy these on DP and many other places for 100.00 or so.. Also, look for hobby sites for sale that do not make any money...

LINK BUYING

Now, here's another tip into getting a money site indexed and ranking... Google loves large sites and rewards them when they have proper links coming in. A good PR7 link to a MU site can do wonders and pay for itself many times over. Must be a good link and not be one of many in a footer. These are hard to find but our out there.

Wash, Rinse, and Repeat

As with every blackhat technique, you can repeat your efforts on any niche... You will be surprised how many times you get deindexed only to get reindexed and ranking later.. I have party poker links on parasitic blogs that I have no clue where they are at.. I see a cycle that from time to time these links will rank and get me sales.. The lesson to learn from this is the more numbers you have out there the more you will see in a return...

Thank you for reading.. More advanced blueprints will be published here in the near future. I would be happy to answer any questions about this via pm or post.

Rob

Hi Rob,

This is a great thread and some very valuable information. I need you to clarify a few things for me :)

1) Money Blogs - You mentioned
Any autogenerated content needs to be cloaked with human readable content being displayed. I disguise my auto generated content below the fold in the form of user comments and trackbacks.
. What autogenerated content will you have on your money blog? How do you cloak it? Trackbacks are used to link to other blogs; what is the purpose of using them?

Perhaps, put a question out there, saying you have heard great things about the offer and ask if it's as good as you have been told by friends.
My purpose is to get the user to click the ad and buy whatever it is I am selling; why would I ask if the product that I am selling any good? I think that will detract users no?

2) SEO Blogs - You wrote
Take advantage of your money blogs' RSS feed to create deep links to posts. Your posts to these blogs will get pinged and spidered and so will the money blog posts and home page.
Why do I need an RSS feed? Can't I just copy my deep links and use blogslammer to link my main keywords to these deep links?

Also,
If you can put a javascript redirect to your money blogs and if not, put a huge banner above fold that will try to capture a click that will direct users to your money blogs.
This is an interesting concept. Can I set the javascript redirect to be immediate? How will that impact googlebot (will it actually crawl my seo blogs and gather the one way links to my money blogs)? Or is it better to set the javascript redirect to maybe 30 seconds so googlebot has enough time to crawl my blogs and extract the links without being redirected.

3) Domains - Before you buy a domain, do you look at a site's PR rating? Is it important? How about backlinks? or is it sufficient to have an aged domains that is well indexed (but has no pr and no backlinks)?

If I understand correctly, you recommend hosting my seo blogs on aged domains and have one way links to my money sites? Let's say I have 40 different c class ips; would you recommend to have subdomains or 40 different domains?

4) Link buying - So let's say my aged, well indexed domain name is www.myseoblogs.com. I have created 10 subdomains with multiple ips such as 1blog.myseoblogs.com, 2blog.myseoblogs.com 3blog.myseoblogs.com and etc...Do you suggest getting a PR7 llink to EVERY mu site or just the top level domain name?

Rob, I wanted to thank you so very much for helping out a newbie like myself. I love your products and you are a great, insightful guy. Keep it up bro! :)

Thank you for these valuable tips. I am not new to Black Hat but I am just starting with the concept of blogging/blog farming, so it's much appreciated.

Some time ago, you wrote this at the beginning of your thread about BlogSlammer windows edition (it was about running multiple blogs on the same IP):

LOL.. We will agree to disagree on this one.. I know for a fact they do as long as you cover your tracks to make sure the search engines don't know they are all yours..

Could you please expand on this? How do you cover your tracks to prevent the SEs spiders from knowing all the blogs are yours?

Thanks.

What I meant was I was running multiple blogs on the same hosting account with same IP.. Using addon domains. Basically, just pointed addon domain to new directory and did a new wordpress installation on that..

I also have ran multiple MU sites on same hosting/ip... This is easy using a site manager plugin that allows you to have more than one wordpress MU site on single installation.

As far as covering tracks, I basically just create new blogs on new ip's.. Never link them to each other.. Only one way links.. Meaning my SEO blogs linking out to money blogs.. But my money blogs never link out to anything..:) except for affiliate offer..

Great post. I grabbed blogslammer windows version a bit ago. Really looking forward to your new forum where we can discuss strategies and the co-op.

Any idea when you plan to open this.

Thanks much.

Hi Rob, I really hope you can answer my questions.

Thanks!

I too agree that this is very useful. I've only been on BHW for a few months but am learning a tremendous amount.

I was actually reading up on blog farms earlier today and found a great bit of information from the following link. Might could help clear up SOME of the questions.

Code:

This is an awesome post. Alot to pull out of there.

I have a question. Is it best to use the big public blogs for your SEO blogs? Or should you use a farm of your own? I assume if you use your own farm for SEO blogs it should be segmented from your money blog.

very nice post Rob, the one tip i would say is change your ping sites and add individual sites not pingomatic incase your site gets blocked.

such a wonderful steps on how to earn $$$ from blogging. i take you advise man!!

Addon domains: Basically one hosting account = one domain. However, most hosts - depending on your hosting package - allow you to add additional domains to your hosting account.

1/ You buy a TLD and point it to the DNS of your hosting account.
2/ You add the domain to your hosting account as an add-on domain, which will create a subdirectory for your new domain.
3/ You enjoy managing multiple domains from the same hosting account :)

It just consists in adding additional domains to your hosting account instead of just managing your master domain.

Regarding subdirectories: Has anyone hit a resources limit with their host using WP? Using Joomla --and even with "unlimited subdomains" etc.-- I started getting warnings with more than 20 subdomains on the accounts. I haven't gone as heavy with WP but I'm thinking that it is more compact than Joomla so I can probably pack more than 20 subdomains on an account. Thanks

I am wondering the same. Are the SEs bots following the Javascript redirect just like human visitors? I guess not, but I'd like to make sure an immediate Javascript redirect is fine anyway.

Thanks guys.

In return for your upcoming help - hopefully :o - for those who use javascript redirects and are worried about the fact they can't check their SEO blogs without taking of the javascript redirect code, just temporarily disable javascript in your browser. I just tried this and it works like a charm (it's an obvious trick but I am pretty sure not everybody will think about it so just in case hope it helps :)).
