9k traffic in just 3 months how the hell

here is the website i found while searching fb marketplace for guest posting websites for my website then i find this website https://husbandname.org . it is just 3 months old domain and getting a traffic above 9k in just 3 months i do not know what the hell happening to google or what tricks are they using to gain such traffic in just 3 or 4 months. Can anyone please explain this.

That's BS for sure. I wonder why Ahrefs gives stupid traffic value like that in the first place.

I personally think it is because of the reasons cited by @xpesos and the fact that maybe because they are using a .org domain name.

I might be wrong though.

that's only 300-400 visits per day,
new domain targetting low kd keywords & some spammy links, made solely to sell guest posts,
typical scam to oversell their links, just stay away from such vendors,

most of the facebook seo/guest posting groups are filled with resellers,
they're all reselling the same spammed networks,
the same is being resold pretty much everywhere,

if you want decent guest posts, you have to make your outreach or pay someone talented enough to do it,
other than that, if you really want such cheap links, probably the cheap ones from website with millions of traffic could be used as "tier" links for churn & burn

This is so true. I was researching on links for a particular website and got offered a site, it seemed too good to be true. Astronomical traffic, but on closer inspection and research it was clear to me they're gaming the system.

I'm suspecting they make use of CTR system on practically useless websites to overstate their traffic.

On one occasion the site was getting more traffic for the website name of another than the target website itself, just because they discussed said website. Something like Site A wrote a post about Site B(which is health website). People are searching for Site B in the millions but only site A is getting that traffic and all lead to one page.

A lot of vendors do such nonsense, a few times I've seen questions on the forum asking how to do it as well.

im nigerian , so its probably some tasks website or some telegram panel ... sending visits to that website... thats website is of no interest .

Yeah chances are that site was created purely for guest posting.
