    Hello folks,

Long story short I came across a sweet EMD on a super easy to rank for keyword. When building up the site, i made a super noob mistake by not checking archive.org. The site was previously used as an amazon niche site in 2006 and has gone through 3 additional owners up until 2012.

Today marks the third month since ive started this little site and I suspect the website is penalized. The website refuses to rank despite the 20k in content ive put in, the dozens of web 2.0 ive built up, the PBN links ive thrown at it and the various other offpage elements ive done (my onpage is also on point for those wondering). What throws me off though is that theirs no penalty message in google's webmaster tools.

Should I cut my losses and start fresh or should keep building links? What do you guys recommend?

Interesting how you're so sure about something google related.

Check link profile, blacklist the trash links.

Why don't you just check web master tools? Penguin is real time so you can tell if it is that now days.
