99% of People Are Building Backlinks All Wrong

Means you need only contexual links from guest posts or PBN or Niche Edits ? or from all of them?

Google doesn't know the difference. These are just names we give them.

Content, editorial links is what you want. Homepage is just going to drive more juice, but it's not a fundamentally different type of link. It's just an article on the homepage. Guest post is just an article with a link. Niche edit is just your link added into an existing article, sometimes with links, sometimes without.

Because it isn't a real site that's setup properly. It doesn't have internal links.
Many PBNs and guest posts do not have internal links or relevant outbound link. They only put links for which they are paid. And many big and medium sites rank with such types of PBNs posts with no internal linking. Can you please explain this?

That was a great post actually. It's refreshing to see someone in SEO who understand the importance of links.

Something I have trouble with, is evaluating how many links a business needs per month based on their budget and competition. What's your approach to this? Do you start with like 2-5 great backlinks a month and then if nothing happens you increase the number?

Also, what would be the top 5 metrics you would look at to determine whether a backlink is high quality or not?

Thanks!
