It doesn't expire, it's a promo coupon code to generate lots of little domain sales. Be aware of the problem here though, as every domain name that you register for that great $0.99 deal is going to cost you the STANDARD $18.99 backorder/renewal fee next year.
Keep that in mind that they will all come due at the same time at that pricing when you order 50 of them today for $50. Next year those same 50 will total $949.50, all due at once, just as you buy them.
Just FYI.
I highly suggest using/cloaking free links with tinyurl or one of the many alternatives if you are just throwing a junk site up there to be short-lived. Don't waste the time, effort and funds to buy private domain names unless you are going to use them for long-term use.

No kidding! I bought a boatload of domains last year on yahoo for a reasonable price and this year their renewal is $35!!! I DON'T THINK SO! Anyway, I'm transferring them a few at a time to NameSecure and getting the transfer and renewal for 1 year for $8 or so.
Anyone know of any cheaper alternatives?? I'm always looking to save $$ whenever possible!

When I wake up in the morning and log on to BHW there's sometimes over a thousand new posts... no way I would even want to try keeping up, and sometimes dup posts made me aware of something I missed the first time around.

i suggest that domains should be bought on their original price without using these discount codes because people have had probs when they plan to sell these domains for a fair price

i wouldnt say its bullshit coz there are certain codes that ll get you cheap domains in the first year but will cost a lot for subsequent renewals (99 cent .infos for example or the yahoo $2.99 domain thing). However, thats pretty rare and there s no reason to be paranoid about it and not use any codes at all!! it would be rather stupid to do that infact!
