8K New backlinks in the blink of a second [You cant get em!]

Ok here is whats happened: I have a blog for an keyword surroding a game. There is a lot of forums for this game so I decided to buy some signatures.

I then got the signature space from someone with over 8K posts and since it was on a vbulletin all his posts on the entire forum changed and gave me a link.

I though this was very good as Matt Cutts says that you can create too much links as long as theyre related.

But then I discovered that he also linked to his blog in his signature, so that blog have also recived the 8K links. Many of the threads that he has posted in (First page) have PR but his site has PR 0.

So I am wondering if this will actually provide me with the link juice I was expecting? (He did indeed rank for his main keyword with his site so its not sandboxed, but it was VERY low competition).

Multiple links from the same domain don't help that much mate.
Yes I got 400 Links from DP becouse of signature but back when I had only 50 links from there becouse of my sig I was ranked in the same spot.
So no they don't help that much if they are from same domain.
I suggest you that you should just expect direct traffic from the signatures not alot of seo value.

The more outgoing links on the page, the less juice each link gets.

DP is nofollow so of course those links won't help google rankings...

You're more likely to pique someone's interest with a catchy tagline than get much link juice from it. However, nofollow links may influence the keywords you rank for, so keep that in mind. =)
