Just wondering , if 80% of my traffic to my adsense money site comes from social media ( almost every thing from facebook ) does google have any problem with that? Not any short of spam from its own facebook page. I would love to hear how actually google would take this.

    Regards

If it's actually legit traffic from social media you should be fine.

I don;t know what amount of traffic you are talking about, but if you have that much traffic and are worried, you might want to use some cloaker-domains to drive the traffic. For google it will then look like referrer traffic.

Been a while since i read googles terms but as the guys say above you should have no issues at all with your traffic coming from social media.

Having said that there's no harm in taking a look around the google forums for peace of mind.

One of the big reasons why someone loses their adsense account is from social media. However, this is not just "because of traffic." There are other factors.

First, does the traffic convert into profitable conversions for the advertiser? If yes, you're fine.

Next, lots of times social media people will click ads to "help" you. This is where the problem lies. These clicks are useless to advertisers, and this is what gets you into trouble.

If your traffic is not really converting and there are patterns that look like you're throwing anything at Adsense to the demise of the advertiser, then you'll have a problem. What you should worry about is people clicking ads to "help" you.

If advertisers make money only then you will make money ( with adsense or cpa ) . But some times you can't control it. Look if i make a facebook page of my niche site( a Health niche ) how would you control those things ?

Adsense is CPC not CPA. Advertisers don't necessarily make money when you do. However, the ROI should be worth it for Adsense. If you flood useless traffic to an advertiser and there are no conversions, they are gonna get pissed and complain. Since they are the revenue and you're a dime a dozen, Google is going to pay them more attention and cater to them. One lost adsense account making pennies means nothing to Google.

You can't really control it, but you should be careful at the amount of useless social media you throw at an adsense page. Their support forums are filled with people who say they did social media and that's it. The big problem is the people trying to "help" you.

Only adsense knows their triggers. I actually lost my adsense to a click bomber and it happened overnight, so I had no chance to mitigate damages. I got my adsense account back, but it was with the help of people who knew people. Most people aren't so lucky.

So, this doesn't mean "don't do social media," but you need a good blend of traffic so that advertisers are satisfied with your traffic.

Majority of people losing their accounts with adsense say they sent social media traffic. Not worth it in my opinion. Too much risk involved.

It depends on what kind of social media.

For example if you are producing legit content that goes viral or gets shared a lot, you will be fine.

However if you are generating a lot of traffic say getting people to your website say by loading up your Twitter Bot and spamming the crap out of Twitter to get traffic, then you may get in trouble.
