Most people have realized that there was an update yesterday/today with google. After researching it for a few hours, I realized that 80% of the blog networks I checked were just de-indexed. I encourage you to check the google cache of your backlinks from networks and you will see what I mean. As always, the SERP changes happen for the next week as your backlink profiles are re-adjusted. If you are falling in the SERPS, this is most likely why.

Everyone who uses blog networks, please post your own research of the de-indexing!

Just checked blog networks I use... 0 de-indexing from links made in the last 2 months.

I checked several large spun content ones, (not ALN or any of the crappy ones) and same thing.

I've been following 3-4 blog network services here in BHW and the recent comments say that their links are gone because the sites are deindexed. I would assume because of these instances that what you say is true. This is the reason why I keep my blog network PRIVATE like COMPLETELY PRIVATE.

Not seeing any such thing going on...
Again, it's probably being limited to spun networks, and even then, all of my donated sites (20+) into spun networks are still just fine... my fully private network is fine, the other services I use are all fine.

Its too easy for the big g to find blog networks which is why they will eventually de index them. The only way to do it is have your very own. They are powerfull though.

Google can and will still de-index your own network. I've seen it happen.

My suspicion is 80% is outrageously high guess.
I doubt it's any more than normal. ALN and several other large footprint services are crushed REGULARLY. Sites are often insta-deindexed in these networks within only 1-2 weeks in them.

I just checked the domains of about 1000 blog network posts I could easily check out (unique posts) and 4 of them (yes 4) were de-indexed.

80% might be a bit high -- I agree. But it's a considerable amount. These are not large footprint services though. These are semi-private networks.

I asked around, my friends and the service providers I bought from. Most of them said that the hosting companies who allow multiple IPs per account were the ones who were putting down sites. Maybe Google is targetting sites which are hosted here? Hmm.

I cannot believe people still use these hosting providers...
It was obvious in February SEO hosting was leading to deindexing...

The 80% figure was the real number de-indexed of the networks I looked at. I use almost every network from here, wickedfire, & warriorforum.

    I hate google

Of course they're deindexed a lot... the ones that openly advertise are NOT hard to find if you're G.

I think I was actually hit by this. What is weird, some keywords are still ranking on 1st page, but most of my traffic is gone. And I used mostly services from here.

I say this in other thread mates and I said this before too and everyone told me I was stupid lol!

These blog networks are run by greedy blotes, they advertise on every forum! have sales threads, have banner sigs, by banner ads. they are a sitting duck to begin with.

then to top it off they do a lot of bad techniques with blog networks, like host on the same host with seo hosting or some crap. they use crappy spun stolen content. they randomly put links in. the sites on the networks are a disaster most of time. meaning low quality theems and dont look real at all.

then they push 30+ posts a day, haha really? all about nonesense in every single genre.

to make matters worse how about giving everyone a report. check mate.
