So I've been doing SEO for about the last 8 months. I went through a ton of different courses and "gurus" before I finally found BHW. I can't believe how much amazing content is on here for free (wish I would've just started here). Anyway, I ranked my ecom store (not dropshipping from aliexpress) for a 5k/month buyer-intent keyword. I'm on the bottom of page 1 and my competition consists of high authority niche-relevant domains. They aren't doing much off-page to the specific page, but they are targeting the keyword and have solid internal linking structures. I'm going to summarize what I've done so far and if you guys have any ideas for a plan of attack going forward, that'd be amazing! I'm not looking for any hand-holding here. I'm going to make it to the top eventually. I was just wondering if there's any SEO masters out there that'd help speed up a young padawan's journey so he can finally start making some $$$?
On-Page: Ranking the homepage of new PMD. 1200 words of solid content with keywords and LSI sprinkled in including a youtube video, link to an authority site, blog post snippets, and CTA buttons to shop page. Also, running on wordpress with an SSL.
Off-Page: Setup scholarship, affiliate program, and employee discounts for backlinks. Built out 15 site PBN and swapped a few PBN links in a PBN swap group. Sent profiles, niche-relevant blog comments, press release, forum, directory, web 2.0s, etc. to dilute anchors. I scraped some expired tumblrs with TF. Did a very small bit of outreach / guest blogging. I've also rented a few PBN links, sent 20 PBN links using Hatred from Konker, a cheapo $15 for 5 PBN links service in the early days (thanks for the advice, Becker), and a Domain Authority Stacking service. My anchor strategy was mainly sending LSIs and maybe a few too many exact match in the early days.
Anyway, what do you guys think I should focus on to get to the top? Right now I'm thinking about grabbing @Leith 's PBN service to send some branded anchors or build some tiered links (cheap PBNs or SAPE) to my web 2.0s to raise my site's overall authority. Any tips, strategies, etc. would be so greatly appreciated!
