7y-10y bitcoin holders are selling

Bitcoin has proven to be less effective than everyone thought and really just a pain in the ass to use. The only people begging for it are foreigners that can't work within tax codes. In the usa literally no one wants to touch the stuff in their day to day business.

Other than holding to infinity I don't see much enthusiasm as far as utilization goes.

Savings accounts pay 4% now. That is risk free and FDIC insured. Peace of mind is worth something.

Cash doesn't degrade the way fear mongers describe unless you literally put it under your mattress.
I have the same thoughts as you on the value of Bitcoin and its usage, but it is one hell of a way to make money. Do it right and you have a much better financial status in a short period of time.
But I do agree with the fearmongers on the currency degradation and I find cash shouldn't sit in a saving account for a piece of mind either, there are other investing channels that are pretty safe, you just have to learn what will suit you.

Indeed, there is a tense situation around bitcoin right now.

Geez, if you don't know anything about trading, you don't need to write your opinion. How can you not see what is happening in the market? Everything is quite logical and expected, don't forget that bitcoin is a volatile asset. The moderator above said it right. Of course, sooner or later there will be a time of bulls, but things can change. I personally foresaw the rise and bought at 18k and sold at 30k. I know what will happen to bitcoin in the near future, if things don't change, I will re-buy at a lower price, thus increasing the amount of bitcoin in my wallet. Remember guys, you need to follow the market and news not only in the cryptocurrency sector, but also in the financial sector. Cryptocurrency as a whole is not yet fully recognized as solvent, so it has a precarious position compared to fiat currency. So guys, stay tuned to the news and the financial markets, when you have the information, everything will make sense to you and make sense to you. Hugs to everyone, thanks guys.
I second this, especially it is the news and manipulation caused by the news the biggest factor to trick you sell on a loss, or buy the top. One should make a combo of actual financial markets, what is going on on the news, what big players are doing, where biggest transfers go, then try to make own decision. This what happened and is happening now is a bull trap. :)

I totally agree.

The SP500 is imo the best passive investment in existence.

Also with securities you can get 100% financing for real estate at certain banks.

So if you have lets say 300k in US securities, you can go to a bank and borrow $1,000,000 against those securities w $0 down.

This way you earn the 10+% annualized on the stock as well as a potential revenue stream/tax shelter from the real estate.

US tax codes make certain things total no brainers.

That's actually my biggest fear for crypto is just not enough help from the US gov.

Look at Tesla for instance they get so much help from different governments its actually ridiculous.

Tailwinds are nice... headwinds are not nice lol.
