My website is currently hosted by a server which is located in south Italy.

Even though an international expansion of our business is our long-term goal, we still like to focus more in the French market for the next several years.

    Should I move the host?

Does not matter. No need to move if the loading speed is good. But if you did host on a fr. server you could end up ranking higher in Google.fr.

If you are targeting english/none french keywords there is absolutely no need to change your hosting to France, however if the keywords are in french, you should give it ago, it would help you.
