I have a 7 year old domain. I have really only used it for family pictures and testing various scripts/software over the years. It has no PR as I have never done any link building at all.

I was thinking about loading up a nice wp page and buying some good quality unique articles in a mid range cpc niche (not emd) and starting to build some links just as a side project. Maybe adsence monitization

Other thoughts? What would YOU do with an old domain?

I would sell it after it had some content and had traffic.

If you take your time and make a good website with useful content, then would you be able to make a good cash machine.

Just get started and remember to do a lot of deepbaklinking.

Has the domain name been in google's index for 7 years as well?

I would take some time and try to make a good website out of it, if it has been in google's index long you can hit it harder with link building as well.

Really depends on the website domain name... if it's a solid name, I'd spend some time on it, building it up and then selling it off.
