While doing my KW research I have noticed this short 7-letter .COM name available for registration. It is in fact some variation of a steroid name (read to the END of this post), and this variation gets 320 exact and 600 broad searches per month worldwide, and 390 broad searches in US. It has about 2,000 competing pages in Google SERPs, so with the exact .COM it should be very easy to rank on the page 1. Not much search traffic though.

Besides organic search, I think this name is better suited for:

    - YOUTUBE - promoting a site with watermarked domain name in bodybuilding videos (it is just 7 letters and it is quite brandable to its target audience, and very easy to remember. Most bodybuilders know the full name of that drug anyways, so they will instantly get a message delivered in the site name). On the site, you could just put affiliate links to creatine / amino / gainers instead of roids since those are illigal in US. I think roids are banned from AdSense, so no AdSense here.

    - R0IDS - if someone is selling the r0ids, this is a great name for their site

I would just post the name here, but I do not want it to be registered by someone who seen it first but has no plans to develop it.

So if you are in that niche, here is the hint for you:

    ------------------------------------------------------------
REMOVE "IL" and you would get the word I am talking about
    ------------------------------------------------------------

If this hint is not enough, you are probably not in this niche. Anyways, I will return to this thread tomorrow and will post the name, if it is still available.

Nice find. I don't really have time to develop right now though.

    This.

Unless OP is talking about a designer.

Best guess I've got is Cyclofenil; the only "il" I know of. And it's not even a steroid, rather a low end pct.

Well the one I found (with out giving it away) is an anabolic but not all that well known in the US or at least not marketed in the US as far as I know.

    Yea. It's 8, not 7. Plus it's not a steroid.

He must be referring to a designer or something. I'm not going to dig too much to try and find out, but I am curious.

Is it an anabolic, or is it a designer name?

Ok guys I am just going to release the name, and you decide. Here it goes

    RETABOL.COM

and the roid name is RETABOLIL. In US it is marketed under few other names I guess, however bodybuilders with european connection / background may search for RETABOLIL and some even for RETABOL, as per Google KW Tool

It's an anabolic. and I take the not in the US part back. If it's the one I'm thinking of it's very common. But marketed under a different name in the US. the site name comes from a drug marketed in another country. I don't have any good offers to use with a site like this though or I'd be all over it.

I think you guessed it right. The name has been revealed at my post just above yours ;)
