I'll answer these numbered as you've sent.
1) If you want to upgrade to a bigger plan you can do that with the same discount.
2) That's a hard question to answer. It really all depends on how well your wordpress is configured. Caching/slow plugins etc can cause issues. I will say that we will work with you if you choose a managed plan on optimizing it if something is not loading fast enoug.
3) On shared small you can install up to two domains, but you can install unlimited # of wordpress installations on those domains. On a VPS, you can do whatever you want.
4) Renewal is the same, this is a recurring deal. The price will never change.

6) We do daily backups of all shared hosting accounts.
7) We do not use nginx, varnish or HHVM on shared. However on a VPS we can install nginx, varnish and HHVM however there would be admin time associated with this as it is not part of the standard plan.
8) If your vps is managed (WHM/cPanel) then we will install lets encrypt for you. If not, we would charge for that.
9) Pure SSD.
10) Our datacenter offers DDoS protection. cPanel/WHM offers brute force protection and we can install CSF for even further tightening of the server. DDoS and brute force come default on shared accounts.
