I am totally surprised when I checked adsense account just now.
The report shows I have earned $64.20 with 170 page views and 90 clicks with in 12 hours today just from a single autoblog. which I have setup 5 months before and haven't touched yet after initial promotion.

I was normally earning about $6 per day from that autoblog and ctr used to be about 13% and earning per click about 45 cents. Traffic is not increased very much but ctr is 5 folds and earning per click is also about 2 folds.
    How this could happen ?
    Have anyone similar experience ?
Could this put my adsense account in risk?

Yah you can get sudden spike in traffic if the topic got popular yesterday for some reason.. You don't have to worry if you are not using any blackhat methods to promote your blog.

    @IKbentim and @shadowfax
I don't think so, as I have mentioned the traffic is not increased much though it's little bit more than average. Only CTR and earning per click gone up.

I think autoblogging is blackhat technique. its only been 12 hours lets see what will happen in next 12 hours ?

What do you think I should do so as not to put my adsense account in risk ?

UPDATE: Just refreshed adsense account and report says
190 page impression, 100 clicks and earning $69.01

Your CTR jumped to over 50% - that's scary. Odds are somebody (or some bot) is hitting your site hard and it's going to cause you problems with big G.

Normally, in a situation like that I would contact G myself and say "something looks odd about this, please check that somebody isn't trying to defraud you or your Advertisers", I've done that before and twice now they adjusted the clicks and earnings for me that day (which sucked) but at-least I didn't get into trouble or lose my AdSense account.

The problem with doing that in your case though, is if this is an auto-blog you might not want G's human eyes checking it out too closely...I don't know how your site looks and if you've done anything to add value to the automated content or not.

    Good luck with it.

One of your competitors is definitely trying to get you banned. Can you check some patterns for your traffic? What is the source and which pages are they visiting? You need to investigate a bit and check out your traffic sources to check what is happening..

Hmm things are suspicious there, 50% CTR some times still fine with G, but in your case with the autoblog is a bit risky, here is what I suggest, stop the automatic content for now, set a number of your old posts to draft to hide them or take a buck up of your db and delete them, leave a number of clean posts, add some of your unique content right now, make sure the blog looks clean and natural, then contact G ad..sense, tell them that you got high CTR today and maybe some thing wrong, a human will check it within a couple of days or so.. wait a few more days then set your blog content back.

I have just checked server log and found that all traffic coming from big G, and they are totally from different location, even from more than 15 countries, and visitors are staying about 45 to 2 minutes seconds on my site so from server log and google analytics study I don't found anything suspicious, and don't think anyone or any bot is clicking on ads.

    Update: page impression: 370
    clicks: 110
    Earning: $72.31

Now CTR has been dropped to 29.73% and I am also earning from search, its $4.3 for 10 clicks and 19 queries.

So total earning of today till now $76.61

I experienced something similar yesterday, and again today.

my CTR has not changed much (its about 2%), but my earnings per click increased more than ten fold.

    But hey! I'm not complaining...

Why would you want to do this? When I click on adsense ads for products, if the 1st one is not good, I hit the back button and click on the next one. You are leaving money on the table if you are going to limit IP addresses to one click.

Personally, I would leave it alone, try to figure out what you did or the topic of the article with all the traffic, and duplicate that bad boy.

DO NOT contact G to say "I made a bunch of money, can you look at my site and possibly ban it"

Keep on keepin' on and GOOD JOB!!
