    Hey bhw :)

I bought a blog commenting gig from fiverr and one domain is showing as 6250 backlinks in webmaster tools...my website is 2.5 month old...can those backlinks penalize me and prevent me from getting ranked?

    Thanks in advance

Don't worry, this is normal cause your comment appeared on a blog that have "recent comments" widget.
    You won't be penalized.

Well how many do you need? Your question has been answered, do you need a different one? Google should just ignore the extras so it is not really a problem.

The big problem is you hired someone from fiver to drop links on a fairly new money site not knowing exactly what you were getting. If it did blow up in your face I am pretty sure very few people would be all that surprised.

Seriously dude use that kind of thing for your buffer sites.

Having the exact same anchor on thousands of pages on the same domain and same IP is a bit risky if you ask me.

Try using different anchors next time at least.

All the links are nofollow, so is there still any risk??
