In colorado. He apparently got stuck in his parents' experimental weather balloon. It did not look as if there was any spot for the boy to breathe out of. The balloon was filled with helium
When the balloon came to rest not long ago after flying thousands of feet in the air, emergency crews opened the balloon to find nothing.
Some people are saying he fell out.
I don't think he was in to start with. The boy couldn't have cut the tether, held the 20 ft wide balloon down, and climbed in all by himself.
