Hello members of BHW. As the title says, I've been reading tons of posts here on bhw for around 5-6 months now. And here's what I figured out. Warning! following content may include some phylosophy :) P.S. following content is just an expresion of my opinion and gathered knoweledge, at some points it might be far from reallity.

So the main Idea behind SEO as I understand it is Old domain-->HQ content-->Social bookmarks(g+, likes, shares and such... ) -->manually built high PR links.

And this leads to the following questions :

    a) what if you have a new domain , so do you have to wait for it to age to have a better chance of ranking ?
    b) eveyone suggests to build links manually , slowly so it would look more naturall in the eyes of google. then whats the point in such softwares as gsa,sb,no-hands seo and so on ? when they blast kkkkk links in a day , that doesn't seem naturall at all , even if it's t2 or t3 links that you're building, so I guess my the question that lies behind is , what's the point ? Is it a fancy and expensive way to help google spot and slap you across the face ?

Lets say I'm building links manually (from what I've heard building 1-2 links a day has no harm in the eyes of G) and I'm up against compettitor with 100k backlinks. From the looks of things It'll only take me a decade to beat that kind of competion , even if my links are HQ compared to his , I'll still need at least 10k HPR links to my site.

As from what I have red , such strategy as link wheel has been dead for over 6 years or so ... while link pyramid seems to be working fine even as the time passes by. Any new developed strategys ?

This whole SEO and IM thing seems like rocket sience at first. I'm not saying it's easy, every year or even more offten new updates and algorythms come and you just have to keep up , even if it means having your whole knoweledge and thinking turned 360 degrees. For me It's still very messy and complicated at times, but there is nothing you can't learn right ? My goal and I think every starter and IM newbie goal should be to become the best as you can become , don't compare yourself to others , just go for it , learn alot , work alot and succes will follow you.

This forum is the best place to be if you're looking to learn about IM, SEO and other useful stuff. Thanks to all BHW members for support and help along the way of many newbies like me.

No problem. Remember, if McDonalds can sell the same burger for over 74 years...marketing doesn't sound so impossible.

Well said buddy! Keep your head up and don't forget to take action and try things out. That is a common problem amongst many BHW noobs, they read too much and forget to actually try to apply the tools they are learning.

I believe that the questions in my thread are the sentances that have a question mark at the end of them. If you find this thread to be trash , then just move along :)

It took you 6 months to reach that conclusion?

Still not clear if you are making a statement or asking a question.

Anyway, it is time for you to stop reading and start taking some action.

In the next 6 months you can start building your empire.

    Good Luck

I think, manual link will stay for longer than blasts, they are mostly for short period , but who knows... Also don't forget about quality > quantity :)

After 6 months you still sit on your ass and make question marks. How about go to expireddomains.net, get some decent looking deleted domain, register it at 1 buck (crazydomains.co.uk for example) rank it manually every day like you wrote. Or just thank the positive comments and make snarky comments at critical ones.

    Whatever.

    Wow, lots of hate haha.

Corem, many are in the same boat as you. As other members have suggested, just keep trying things out and find out what works for you. Good luck!
