[6 Months Journey] Building Instagram Accounts for Selling - Set and Forget

Before I tell you about my intentions doing this thing, I would like to say thank you for your time to read my journey about building Instagram Accounts. I'll try my best to write a clear and short post so you don't have read all those unimportant things.

A year ago I have $1000 to save. I save that money just to keep safe in case something bad happen or whatnot. After a few months, I'm addicted to gambling and lost my $500 that I had from $1000 (the sad thing was, I lost in total $2500 besides from my saving; but yeah fuck it). I've been thinking to use my other $500 to build a small business since I was a Business Administration graduate. I spent 3-6 months just reading a marketing forum and thinking what business that can make money pretty quick without working too much or even autopilot.

After I read a plenty threads in IM Journey section especially on the Instagram thing, I concluded that I want to build an Instagram Accounts and monetize it by selling shoutouts. But you know, there's nothing an easy way to monetize on Instagram except you're selling products or whatnot, even you have to at least run 25 accounts to do a CPA and the money is still far from decent (No offence; It's just my 2cents). So, until I was started to build my Instagram Accounts, honestly I'm not quite sure that shoutout was gonna work or not and is shoutout the best way to monetize. Also, in order to do a shoutout, you have to build at least 50k followers and has good engagement. It takes a lot of time.

I already calculate, to make at least $1000 I have to build 10-15 accounts and make until 10k followers so it can sell at a decent price.

I'm using MassPlanner to build 15 accounts; I'm not gonna share my settings due to personal method and whatnot. I might share my settings when I already sold all my Instagram Accounts. So, thank you for your understanding.

P.S.: I make this thread because my post is really low tho I'm here since 2014. So, in order to sell Instagram Accounts, I have to make a journey so people more likely to trust me

I also have some instagram accounts to sell which i will most likely sell them on BHW in january-february. I built those accounts on FL and results were not that great after 10K followers(engagement was not that great). Still got positive vibe that acounts have potential.

How much money did you invest to grow 15 accounts? (Proxies, VPS, Accounts, MassPlanner)

I calculated like 350$ for 6 months.

I am very much interested in this journey. I guess you will be posting images on the accounts too? If yes, then how many images per day?

Lol no you don't. You can easily make hundreds a month off a single account which isn't at 50K.

Yeah, selling Instagram Accounts are not a new thing so anyone can do it too!
Hmm I too lazy to calculate exactly but here's the small details:

Mass Planner: $75+($17*3) = $120
10 Proxies: $9
20 Accounts: $20

Notes:
- I'm using Mass Planner in total 9 months, so I buy the 1-month package for 3 times and buy the 6 months package since it's cheaper.
- I'm using 2 accounts per proxy.
- I'm not using any VPS to reduce any cost and it's easier to monitor.

Can you give me a proof?
I already read many Instagram shoutout journeys in this forum and none of them gave any real proof. Someone in this forum 2 years ago made a journey about his shoutout and claimed that he made $2000 a month, I forgot his username and there is one journey that said he has 50k followers (if im not mistaken) and message every followers that he got about shoutout and almost no one really replied him. There's only 1 guy that replied and he said "sorry im not interested". So there's a big gap so I can't really sure that is it working or not. I also search on google and plenty said that shoutout may works, but I don't have enough proof to do it on my own.
If you can give me a proof that shoutout is working, you can PM me or post the screenshots here so everyone can learn and make his own journey rather than doing CPA thing. And the last thing, if it's working.. why there's no journey about it recently? it's the most safest method rather than CPA right?
The last thread I saw about shoutout and OP claimed that he made a lot money was 1-2 years ago if im not mistaken, the rest journeys are gone and inactive, I don't know what happen.

I will appreaciate if you can give me a proof on shoutout.

Wow it looks promising. What do you think, should I sell the shoutout using shoutcart (or any website like that) or I message all my followers? Also, what are the minimum followers to offering a shoutout?
For now, I will focus to build my account first and consider to try a shoutout as soon as I can. Right now I get a lot of DM from my followers about shoutout or featured post, but I'm not considering to offer a pay shoutout since my accounts are too small.

I would definitely recommend selling shoutouts on ShoutCart. I have tried a few ways and ShoutCart has been the best

You are able to get $35 per shoutout for a IG account that is less than 50k followers? What are your engagement ratios?

Not too bad. congrats with your sales so far.

The business your doing is being done right know in this forum ,

You have to provide really heigh accounts to get buyers

The user selling these insta accounts now on here is selling real heigh engagement accounts

Niche very active
Number of comments from account 2k+

The account's grows 650 a day

Price per instagram account around $80 to $120

When buying a account ,can also buy the massplanner settings.

If you can beat that service, and it going very strong ,and heavily used ,go for it, but i recommend shoutouts , or try and beat this new business .....(( will be hard ill admit))

But the business seller doing it to just get good sales there and then , i think the avarage profit around $3500 a month that me guessing over 30 accounts only sold monthly.....

It all about knowing how to make instagram accounts, with very heigh engagement and good niche....

His business is flying of the shelf daily....

You need to master the business you going into ,like you said only 6 to 7 months, that not a lot of time to no the full concept of Instagram and understanding heavy engagement accounts and how to set them up , that takes time and practice to do, you might lose hundreds at begging it all trail and error .......

All i am saying ,study your competition before going to do any business at all ......

You said you study business , but running a business , is harder then the theory at school ,
But you should be able to do a really good business plan to succeed... (good luck)

First of all it depends on niche, i have accounts with less than 1% (they are 20K+ accounts).
Also note that if you have followers less than 10K your engagement should be atleast 3% to perform well and as followers increase engagement percent decreases in mostly all type of accounts.

I'm also curious that shoutout still working until right now, everyone is too focus on CPA and Instagram stuff.

I'm sorry I don't fully understand what you're saying to me, but I'll try my best to reply my thoughts.
Sure I'm gonna tell the settings to my buyer if he's interested or already buys my accounts, it's not like I keep those settings until I die. Also, I believe there are no rules that I should tell everything I do or the secret I have to build my accounts.
Did you do shoutouts by yourself? The reason why I tend to refuse to do shoutouts is because it lacks proof. If shoutout is really working why everyone not doing it? Honestly, I don't want to be everyone's "guinea pig" by doing trial and error, I lost a plenty of money and I don't want to tilt again because doing something that doesn't proven. I just wanna make a decent amount of money by reducing all the costs as possible as I can and autopilot my business so I don't have to work every day 24/7. After that, what you can do with $150-200 and automate your business? Offline store won't gonna cut it, how do I pay my worker every month? What if I build a website and sell my product? I won't do it because I'm newbie at SEO and so on. I believe you understand what I am trying to say here. Moreover, In case I failed like you said, the worst things that gonna happens are everyone laughs at me and I lost $150-200, what's worse than that? At least I'll try my best and if I fail, everyone can read my thread and learn from it. Even I can make $150-200 back in 1 or 2 month/s, (FYI, $150-200 is for 5-6 months) so I guess it won't damage my personal life.

Also about my school, learning business is not like *poof* I can be the next Jack Ma, no it's not. I know the goal for a business student is to establish a new business, but like you said it's not easy as you think. Many BBA's or MBA's work for others instead of building his own business and there are myriad reasons about it. What I am trying to do is, I use my own logic that I had taught at school to criticise my business and reduce all the risks and especially the unexpected ones. I'd rather selling Instagram Accounts that has low risks rather than doing CPA Instagram thing because the risks are too big, I have to rent VPS, buy many accounts every week, pay for at least 20 proxies every month and settings my accounts every 4-5 days because my other accounts just got banned recently.

well i will not reveal my account engagement here but yes it is nearly same which you mentioned. By engagement decrease i mean if your 10K account has 3% engagement then it will most likely decrease after that like when it will reach 20K followers your engagement can go to 2.15% and so on and on.

How is it going?

Nice journey. Am going to follow along with you on this.

There are a lot of things going on lately, I get sick for 5 days and I had a family trip to celebrate new years eve for a few days. Since I was using my own PC to run MassPlanner, I left my PC to shut down if I get sick or had a trip. I still have 126 days left to using Mass Planner so It's not a big deal for me.
