6 accounts on my phone?

Really? When did this come? I thought you were only able to have 5 on the IG app
You can actually have 5 only but if 2 or more Accounts are connected with the same Login Details,It shows you more than 5 Accounts in total.
Oh did not know that, but none of my accounts are linked with the same login details. I just tried to log in one of my new accounts I wanted to grow for fun and it did just work for the 6th acc

I'm using 4 and but the 4th account keeps getting action blocks.
Let us know how many actions you can do daily with each account.
I have not been doing alot of actions for months on my accounts. Nowadays I'm just reposting only feedposts and stories. So I'm not the best person to answer your question
This depends on what is the Account's History,How many Actions you do on each and what IP are you using etc..
Also what Action causes the Action Block?

This isn't only you - came across another intel that IG is "letting" more accounts to be run on devices. I haven't been able to do this though

I wonder if this is a function of the account histories. Having months-old accounts + not much activity = high trust scores ?

They allow you to go past that number but 5 is the recommended Max to have under the same IP/Machine if you undergoing automation with the accounts and or marketing with those accounts.

If you're not automating or spamming the accounts, Instagram won't really mind having an account or two extra on the same device.
But if you do have them together and then start automating any of them, the chances of getting suspended/blocked is much higher which is why it's not recommended to have so many accounts together on the same device(for blackhatters).
