yeah, it happened with discord, they changed some embed settings to make it look like a real view on a update popup and got like 1b views in a hour, they got they views revoked. It can be tricky, as long as you don't raise too many red flags you can do it.

500k bot traffic is pretty much worthless for any real monetization.
AdSense / most ad networks will ban you the moment they detect it. CPC/CPM networks that accept low-quality traffic pay almost nothing, so the math rarely works.
The only things people still try:
If the traffic is already hitting a site you control, the realistic options are limited. Most people just let it die or try to flip it cheap.
What are you currently doing with the traffic?

- Redirect/resell it as “bot traffic” or “view traffic” to other people who buy that stuff
- Autoplay YouTube embeds (risky and often gets the views wiped later)
