    Hello everyone.

I'm always looking for possibilities of detaching my income from my time which is working pretty good so far. However, I do not want to put all my eggs in one or two baskets. So authority sites came to my mind. I made some halfass attempts of building those in the past, surprisingly some of them performed better than expected. Others were doomed to fail from the start. This is why I need to develop a plan.

    Here's what I got

    - around $5000 / month to invest into building authority site/sites (More in case it works)

    Requirements:

    - must be completely autopilot. Basically all I want to do is requesting payments or receiving checks or wires. I would of course be able to check if offers are still live and such small things, but that's it. I'm developing my own physical product and I want to devote most of my time toward that, so I do not want to do SEO, write articles etc.

    - sustainable income. I understand that there are fluctuations, but I do not want to base my site around a shortterm, loopholish thing like content locking Minecraft codes and such.

    - predictable income. There needs to be some kind of predictability as to when the site is profitable.

    - monetization does not really matter, but I would prefer CPA/clickbank/whateverbank over Adsense to be less dependent

That's it for now. I will edit this post in case anything needs to be addressed specifially. Any kind of feedback, question, idea is appreciated. Also if you know someone capable of building such sites or services which could prove helpful in this process, let me know. Do NOT message me asking if I want to buy your MNS and similar. I will later turn this thread into a live case study for all to see. :)

    Take care,

Are you looking to buy an authority site for 5000 $ ? If so then you should expect to keep doing SEO. If you need an autopilot site then it might probably cost over 20 K :)

Hmm, I'm confused. I thought I was at BHW, not HF or DP. Can you grow up and write in the language I like to call, understandable English.?

If you were my customer I would focus on doing guest blog posts on other authority sites. The link juice you get will be incredible. And you would see results guaranteed.

I hope this advice helps :)

There is NO authority website that can be autopilot. Autopilot only works well for MNS, authority sites requires changes/updates weekly or even daily. Even if you find a genius way to make a website that provides user generate contents; you still spend A LOT of money and time to improve/monitor the website.

if you able to invest $5k a month into authority websites. Make it right by develop your own trusted team, customised website/application that can provide you following things:
    -Monitor the website almost 24/24
    -email collecting for marketing
    -customer services/support
    -sponsorship/partnership
-mobile version of the website (This is very easy now, no need to waste time and money on developing 2 different version of the website for iphone and android)
    -Chrome application (also very easy)
-updates and high quality articles, blog posts
-SEO and google are not gods, if you want to recover from the investment of $5k, don't spend too much on SEO. Authority like page rank will not gain in such small time frame. Focus on the quality of the website and the return of the investment FIRST
    -Make use of email marketing.
-Make use of Spam, and do it SAFELY
-solo ads and ads like adwords, etc. will work well
-stop promoting low quality affiliate products. Make yourself an affiliate instead and promote your own products.

duplicate this authority website into a similar version for another niche and earn the profits.

    Online.

I'd rather have someone to build my own instead of buying one. I don't mind spending money on SEO continuosly.

I don't have time to develop my own team, let alone manage them. I was/am under the impression that I can build a site in a niche, say health, get keyword research and articles done, set up the site with 200 articles and schedule a number of articles published per day, pay someone to do SEO and monetize it using CPA/Amazon/Clickbank/Adsense/whatever. That should bring in some kind of revenue. After a few months I would then have a massive site with 1000 articles or so and hopefully a relatively high number of profit/day. From there on I could grow it even further or flip it. I'm aware that I need to spend money on SEO continously.

Thanks for your input guys! :)

if you like that way then of course it would bring you some revenue, but it will be a while until you can get some real revenue that can overcome the expense you paid for the websites. but think first, with 200 articles getting out sourced, how many articles you would think it would be high quality and interesting enough for people to read?

To be honest, SEO is overrated. One of the websites I managing still able to earn 7 digits in a year without doing ANY off-site SEO. Most effective backlink buildings are generated by your users.

There are plenty of way to attract users without using any SEOs... for example, just a post from popular facebook user or twitter could turn your website into a trend. A free offer of special ebook that only available for limited time and "someone" who can help you promote such thing to large audience base.

Yeah, I totally get that. Problem I'm facing is that I do not have the time to manage someone, I'm also afraid that I do not find someone capable of doing this on an independent basis, as he could just do it for his own sites/products and earn more.

don't ever give all the tasks to a single person, break down the tasks into smaller pieces and assign to different people and/or yourself. this way, with their broken pieces, they are unable to get a grip of the scenario of what you are trying to do or how you earn the money. they only need to know at what time they need to do a certain task, they dont need to know why and you also dont need to answer them either... until you find someone can be trusted.

You could buy some authority sites from BHW BST providers. But you will need 2-3 outsourcers to managing them and handling content and SEO. You wont get autopilot in that budget.

True story, Authority mean Passion and giving value to the user. If not, you'll remain the average good website for that niche.

Nope , theirs always a way to automate stuff -- Automation means you dont need to work on it anymore , its either done by someone for you or he gets it done by some other way for you - but you dont need to invest time into it ,you just invest the money into it , and collect the profits , thats it ...

To the OP - seems like you know your stuff , so I dont have much to say
