There's nothing wrong in trying :p

But to answer your question, yes. Your success rate will be lower in comparison to using 25 threads or so.

    I just tested 500 connections on a small auto-approved list. Result :
    • With 500 threads : 111 Posted.
    • With 70 threads : 189 Posted.

So, 500 connections is a wrong way for me.

With how many proxies was that?

Won't being blacklisted be the main problem with 5 proxies and 500 connections?

Youd have to worry about being blacklisted if anything.

With 390 Google passed public proxies.

what is the meaning of blacklisted?
I am not contacting google servers (i am not checking pagerank or harvesting)
so my proxies will be blacklisted by who?

the problem with public proxies is that by the time you are finished checking them all, the first ones in the list have already died.

Yes, but all this small process took around 10min only... I don't think that proxies died.
I use public proxies but not published on public lists to increase their lifetimes.

    I'm not worry about blacklisting.

500 connections is a lot. I'd get more proxies.

Not only that. Also make sure you have a really fast internet connection. Like a dedicated server on a dedicated 100MBit port.

Otherwise some connections might time out when 500 requests hit the pipe simultaneously.

I use 100 connections and 20 proxies on a VPS with a shared 100MBit port. Fast poster timeout is at 90 seconds.
