    Hey Guys,

I am really pushing through a burnout effect of working on a 500 article "How to" website. I am writing all of the articles myself, but am questioning whether it is time to hire these responsibilities off to a writer.

QUESTION: What do you guys do to keep motivated while working on the same project day in and day out?

    Many Thanks! Pri

I hope you are taking breaks in between writing each article. If not, you will not be able to continue very long. You have got to find something that takes your focus off. For me, I play the stupid games on facebook for about 20 or mins every 3-4 hours. It helps me to stay fresh and keep it very productive when I am working.

Thanks, yeah I am doing this to some extent. I dunno, I gotta find some kind of zen balance because I'm going stir-crazy around article #60. Seeing that this website is only 1/10 completed, a solution is most definitely needed.

Off to the beach to play doubles volleyball later today. Hopefully this helps w/ focus.

A community website which allow users to write How to, could be a nice idea in your case ;)

Listen some music which is exiting you when you take a break...

Once you have, a good basis try to switch work with promoting your website.

I Play Warsow which is an open source game quite fun.

I outsource a lot of my articles. I'm a fair writer but some of the sellers are a hell of a lot better than me. For the price to me it's cheaper to hire them than to sit and stare at the monitor waiting for my brain to get in gear. :)

Writers block can happen to anyone. The more you try hard to get the content done the greater the block seems to pop up.

Some food with glucose to help your brain work more harder and fresh air. Make some interrupts with playing your lovely game for 10-15 min. Keep your mood in good condition and all you tasks will be done!

Outsource it to multiple persons. You get the work done quicker this way and they won't get bored and give lower quality.

I have thought about outsourcing, but am mainly concerned about ROI on doing so w/ these long-tail articles.

If I do decide to get a writer, I was considering posting on CL for a person w/ their masters in English located within Michigan. Lots of poor unemployed people out there that might need this work. Even the educated ones.
