Ok ok....I've went the route of paying for FB ads (already spent about $300 in a little over week). I created a Twitter account and bought followliker and have about 4000+ organic follers, created a FB page and have about 300 organic page likes, paid for some of my videos to be promoted on FB and have over 100,000 views on my videos/page combined and just created a Tumblr and not sure how many followeers I have (if any) because I dont understand it but I just followed about 250 people so hopefully theyll start following me back.

Now I dont know what route to go from here. I want to invest money because I understand it takes money to make money but just dont know what route to go. Heres the problem with investing in SEO, I have a video streaming website. No porn or anything illegal. Its a website focused on music. If I do SEP ill find myself competing with sites like Youtube, Viemo, etc. There is no way I can compete. All my videos are hosted on Youtube for now until I get a lot more traffic so I can buy a better server and host the videos on my own. All my videos are watermarked with my URL. I currently have about 275 videos on Youtube.

I dont know if I should focus on getting my videos more views since they are watermarked, focus on Twitter, focus on FB or what not. Im just confused but I need to drive traffic to the website.

My audience are musicians who are unsigned. Poeple who are fans of the website Soundcloud. Im currently following all of soundcloud fans via twitter. Lol. But I have money to invest. I put $500-$1000 but I have more if need be.

Personally, I'd focus on Twitter. Facebook can still give you some decent traffic, but you are going to pay out the ass for it. It sounds like your visitors aren't worth a whole lot (as is the case for 99% of websites) on an individual basis, so why pay FB prices for them? Like I said, I'd keep building up your Twitter account and promoting with that.

I'd also recommend trying a social content locker just for a little bit as well. See how much if affects traffic over a couple of weekdays. If it goes up significantly, keep it.

If your audience is unsigned musicians, you should make a promotion channel. Check out their mix tapes and stuff. What I would do first is do a poll on all your followers. Find their favorite music genre. Make the most liked music your most uploaded.

You may not like it because the genre will be mainstream, but if it makes you money, then do it.

Get some of those unsigned people into fame. They'll be the ones to promote your channel to the big times one day.

Social locker is a script that you put on your site if you offer something to your visitors. In order to get the offered thing they need to share your site on fb, twitter, g+ etc.

    karupoiss is right.

If you're using a CMS like wordpress, you can download the plugin from your backend. I think it's called Social Locker, it has an S on a shield for the picture. Sorry I can't be 100% sure, I'm not on my main computer right this second.

YouTube ads? Never used them, but heard they are pretty cheap.
