5 Years of reading and taking no action

Hi guys been a member here for 5 years and havent started a single venture. I know ive fallen into the trap of reading and trying to learn without implementing any of it. Im seeking help as a total noob on where i should start. I've gotten to the point where i spend enough time reading and looking for the next way to make money online that i should be spending that time working on something. I can afford to invest $50 a month on top of hosting costs but so unsure where to start. Would be grateful if someone could point me in the right direction, thanks

This thread seems Fishy.
If you spent 5 years reading and haven't tried anything then maybe this really isn't for you.
5 years reading and you still need to ask how to start?
Nobody can advise you on where to start, as there are various factors to take into consideration, we don't know you and what works for some doesn't work for others.
I suggest you do some soul searching, highlight your strengths and weaknesses and choose a method that suits your personality/temperament, you must have read some methods that appealed to you.
But seriously we all know you aren't going to do jack.
Look forward to your next thread in 5 years.
 
Cheers for your response W130SN and i appreciate the fact the truth about not doing jack and can't argue that as I've done jack for the last 5 years. Don't get me wrong i haven't spent the whole 5 years reading and trying to learn i always go away and come back but never take action. I think I've made it such a big deal I've lost myself in so many things that i honestly don't know where to start. I read a lot of the journey threads and a lot of them have appealed to me but as this is my first thread i thought it might give me the push to start something. Cheers

You talk about it like it's a situation of life and death.
Start by doing something you enjoy.
It seems like you really enjoy reading.
Perhaps you can start an online book club.

OK, realistically, most people fail on their first attempt, so I would say just get started, learn how to build a site from scratch.
Learn how to carry out proper Keyword Research in a Niche that interests you, the more passionate you are about a subject tends to make things a little easier.
You said you have a budget for hosting + $50 a month, not huge but you can certainly get started with that.
So your Basic Plan is:
1. Choose a Niche
2. Decide Monetization Strategy
3. Choose a Domain Name
4. Start Keyword Research on Niche
5. Buy Hosting
6. Launch Site.
Obviously I have skipped the intricacies of each step as you should be familiar with those from your 5 years of reading BHW
You need to take action immediately and as soon as you start I am sure your 5 years of studying BHW will come in useful. Good Luck
 
Totally agree with W130SN. My advice: just start. I've probably made at least 10 sites so far that have been failures, but incorporating what I've learned my last one is looking promising. If you don't start then you can't figure out what works for you.
 
Thanks for the encouragement i have a couple of interests/hobby's that im passionate about , will start there. Ive setup a wordpress site for my sons football team before so im confident in creating the site. Gonna start my research now into a nice and keywords. Thanks again

"20 years ago was the perfect time to plant a tree; and so is today" It's never too late to take action. So start implementing all the theory you've consumed in these 5 years. You'll eventually fail, but you must learn from your mistakes in order to achieve success :)
 
oh dear you lost very long time .i thing if you start in last 5 five year . this time you earn huge income. anyway best of luck
 
My best advice is this. Choose one thing and stick with it. It WILL probably fail and you will probably fail MANY more times until you find a winner. We have all been there. The people who stick it out and don't give up are the ones who make money. Remember this and you will be successful.
 
If you've seriously been reading all about IM, for 5 years, then here's a secret... It's likely that you already know most of what needs to be done, in order to succeed. In fact, many of the issues you experience, may seem to be resolved by coomon sense, to you. Reason being, is that you already have the knowledge. Just put it into action.
 
A tip is, whatever you decide to do, do it quickly, steam into it, because things change quickly and you may have to start over without even a well established project.
 
Keep reading for another 5 years - there's a method here for you somewhere, trust me.
 
I agree with the doing something you're passionate about thing. I hate writing content about things I don't care about. The quality and quantity produced are half of what I make when I enjoy it
 
OK cheers guys for the responses, I've taken my first step and downloaded the trial version longtailpro and I'm starting keyword research now. I'm undecided on whether i should start a niche site using adsense for monetization or using amazon affiliate for monetization. I know things work differently for everyone but what do you guys think is the most suitable for a newbie?

Start off with Amazon or ClickBank, remember this is effectively a learning stage.
Don't start with AdSense until you are ready and are aware of the AdSense ToS/T&C, it is very easy to get your account banned so wait until you have a little experience.
