Hey folks!

I've been trying for days to upload a video to my Facebook page. But every time I upload it, the sound doesn't show up. Instead, the video displays normally and gives a squeaky noise. I tried changing video formats, audio formats, different software to combine the video (movie maker, Sony vegas pro...), I also tried uploading from a different browser and a different PC and I'm still facing the same problem.
I can't reveal my video to anyone, but I'm giving out $5 on PayPal to anyone who can help me solve the problem.
leave your suggestions below or add me on Skype.

Have a nice day!

First upload that video in youtube. Then share your youtube link in facebook page.

Yep that sounds like a good idea and make it unlisted if you dont want it in the search engines.

You never mentioned the format of that video, when you uploaded to the Facebook. Anyway try downloading handbrake https://handbrake.fr/ and convert your video to mp4 using it.Then upload to facebook.it will work.

Thanks for the suggestions guys! I want it to be a Facebook video (shows in full and autoplays in the news feed)
I uploaded it as .mp4 , and I also tried handbrake and used the Facebook setting, didn't work.
I just tried uploading the video to YouTube, downloading it again, and uploading to FB. Didn't work either!

I've download the videplayback (no voice) and I'm going to try to edit the audio with audacity. I'm still looking for a solution!

If you have a screen recording program like camstudio, record video with it and add your audio.
Then, try publishing this video.

Maybe you have messed up codecs on your machine so saving it/encoding always results is same broken sound. Try downloading and installing FFDShow codecs.

Done, what do I do after that?

Well, there is still a way to fix this but it is a little more complicated.
What you need to do is:

- get full soundtrack from the original video and save it as .mp3
- create new mp4 video by importing your vid, deleting old soundtrack and importing new one (mp3 file).

This can be done using most video editing softwares (After Effects, Adobe Premiere, Sony Vegas, etc.)

If you want you can just send me the file and I will do it for you.

Maybe the problem is your own pc while trying to playback the video. If you tried different converters/ editors and nothing worked that's strange. Maybe it's the browser-plugin that's corrupted or something. What happens when you try to play it on another computer??

Tried to help OP but this video is actually pretty weird :)

I tried to:

- delete original sound and replace with new one ripped from the video.
- Encode it in different formats including avi,mp4,flv etc.
- Record screen using fraps and uploading that video with included sound.
- This is also not web browser issue that is causing this.

After uploading vid to facebook sound is always messed up.

Any ideas ?
