    Hi guys,

I am going to be selling a low priced item, hoping to get a large quantity out the door. Usually, I go for a mix of high profit ($50-$100) per item rather than selling a crap load.

I have found an item where I can make around $9-$10 clear profit per item (quite low profit margin for me) but I have seen sellers knocking out on some days 50-60 of these..

The problem is, there are about 5 featured items for this same item. The one who is on top gets pretty much ALL the sales. Everyone else underneath him is getting substantially less, we're talking 5-6 sales per day, even though there price is low by about $2.00

How can I get to be first on there? I am not new to eBay and I know it probably has something to do with my feedback received for that item, how many people have bought that item from me, how many watchers, etc etc.. but what if I build backlinks to that page on blogs with SB and the like? That will only really have an effect on google, wouldn't it? But I guess that would still help me to get more sales, in turn which would make me go higher above everyone else?

    Thank you!

I had thought that ebay did away with the "Featured listings"?

As I recently found out, you have to be on that new "Top Rated Seller" or above program to have the option of being featured first at the top of what ever category your selling your item in. (Even though you still pay for it)

Edit : Can't post links, so goto ebay help and put in "featured" it explains it all there.
