    Hey guys,

I've been looking at this forum for quite a while now and I started to ask myself many questions about the fact that you can (or can't) make money online.
I should say "[...] make good money online" because I don't think that a couple of pennies gained trough Ad.Fly is called "money".

As this is my first post, some of the questions I'll ask below are maybe answered elsewhere in the forum, sorry that I didn't have time to read all of the internet...
If you find out that one of my questions is in another post, please don't call me out, just link the thread and I'll gladly go read it.

I'm looking for a way to make a couple extra bucks per day or per week, since I already have a full time job.
I'm not looking for something that takes alot of time nor efforts (I'll put only few hour a week on that) until I really see that it pays of well.

I've read some thrads where people were linking to their own websites, pretending that linking to them will make money, etc, etc.
I'm not a total newbie, I know how to detect fakes and bots so don't even bother trying to sell me some of this stuff.

    Here are the questions:
    1. Is it possible to get legitimately 10$-20$ per week with a paying url shortener?
    2. Is there any way I can effectively monetize a blog without having to "buy" traffic?
    3. Without having influencers or bloated social accounts, how can I develop an important audience that could earn me some money?
    4. Is 1-3 hours of work enough to build up some online money-making tactic?
    5. Is it still possible to make money online anymore?

Feel free to ask questions about any aspects or ask your own questions about this topic, you can also PM me if you want to talk about stuff.

Hoping to get some answers ;)

Sure... but you can make $10 to $20 per week doing anything. You can work 2 hours at a minimum wage job and earn that.

Is there any way I can effectively monetize a blog without having to "buy" traffic?

    Yes.

    I don't understand this question.

Is 1-3 hours of work enough to build up some online money-making tactic?

No, probably not. If you suck at drawing, are you going to be decent at drawing with 1-3 hours of practice?

Is it still possible to make money online anymore?

No, no one buys anything on the internet anymore.

Here are my answers and a few tips.

    1. Yes and no. In order to make this amount of money with URL shortners such as Linkbucks or Adfly, you'll need around 10k clicks per day from Tier 1 countries (US, UK, CAN). Which is TOO MUCH for this kind of service. Keep in mind that money from URL shortners are "beer money", and will not have a considerable impact in your life.

    2. Absolutely. Learn about SEO and you don't need to spend a dime buying traffic or any other shit. Google is your friend.

    4. Yes and no. Don't start thinking you will get rich tomorrow. You will need to work hard, and it can take days, months or even years to start making real money. I work 8 hours per day, but when I want to make more, I work 12 to 16 hours per day (work hard = more money).

    5. Sure. I know people that live with 100% money made online.

    Good luck!

    Yes, for all.

I wouldn't recommend URL shorteners unless you offer something hard to find, such as cracks, nulled plugins, themes, movies, etc.
Otherwise, most of the visitors will just leave and never come back.
