Hello,

I have been working with "SEOProLabs" for 5 months now. This is what I have paid them so far, and the results which I have gotten.

  1. Enterprise Plus Package - 5x $478 = $2,390.00
  2. Platinum Package Power Pages - 3x $675 = $2,025.00
Total Paid: $4,415.00

I have been working on a five keywords monthly, but here are the results for the most important one. This is going from February 11th of 2021 to July 3rd 2021.

Please, does anyone know if this is any good? I feel like this is not in part with the money which has been paid for the work. Attached are images of the positions.

Thank you.

holy shit, mate! You've paid $4500 (for um, what exactly??) to a website that doesn't even exist? If their domain is seoprolabs . com then it's just a simple wordpress homepage, if it's a different URL can you please let me know what that URL is? I'd really like to see what they are charging obscene amounts of money for.

Also, I can't tell anything from those images, so you might want to give more information (but make sure you never reveal your website or keywords).

Damn, if you gave me only 10-15% of that money I would have gladly handled those 5 keywords for you without a problem... whatever those keywords needed. I think you may have been scammed :(

Nobody can say if you've got a good deal or been well and truly fucked over, as we don't know the niche, keyword and competition. But if these are just 5 keywords you paid for - not good.

This is what I see on my WhatsMySEP panel. On February 11th the position was 5th. Now it is June 3rd and the position is still the 5th.

ok, but this still doesn't say anything. In some niches you will stay at #5 for years, so unless you specify the niche and the metrics of your competitors (you don't need to give their names, or your keywords away) no one can tell if that position is OK, or not.

And seriously, what exactly have you paid all that money for? Or tell us the domain of SEOProLabs so we can check it for ourselves. Because if it's just a rank tracking tool you have been ripped off royally. If it's a complete SEO suite, it might justify the price, but it's still way too expensive in my opinion. You can get 3-4 softwares and services combined (WebCEO, Raven Tools, SEO Profiler, and probably another one) and you would pay way less for all these tools combined than what you've paid for SEOProLabs

This is their website: https://seoprolab.com

I had bought 3x Platinum Package power pages: https://seoprolab.com/article-writing ($675 each) and 5x Enterprise Plus monthly seo package: https://seoprolab.com/monthly-seo-packages

How can I find out the niche and the metrics of my competitors?

Thank you for the help.

niche means the general "topic" of your keywords. if you are trying to rank for "best toaster under 300" you could say your niche is
"home appliances" niche. not sure if that's the exact term, but you get the idea. as for the metrics of your competitors, you can use ahrefs or Moz. but rather than that, it sounds like you have a lot to read in regards of SEO. just look for the many free guides here on bhw.

If I’m not wrong, this is a service on the marketplace. It’s not a tool.

Yes - it is.
Whether or not you got ripped off depends on the keywords you selected. If you're ranking #5 for the term "insurance" in 4 grand, it's a very good deal. Some keywords can cost 40K to rank.

If you're ranking only for a low comp keyword, it's terrible. Without knowing how competitive your keywords are, everybody will just have to guess. Just knowing how much you spent won't help unless we know what you spent it on.

no idea, never heard of that website anyway

oh, ok! Still haven't heard of it, though :)

ok, I haven't heard of them but by looking at their site they look like a complete SEO suite indeed. In which case the price is justified... if you know what you are doing. If you let it exclusively to them, I still think you should know what you are doing in order to avoid disappointments like this, but to be fully honest, at this price - and based on their salesletter - they should go at great lengths to keep you happy. If I had to pay this kind of money with the SEO knowledge that I currently have I would expect them to rank me for 10k monthly searches keywords that have COMMERCIAL INTENT, and do it fast, too! Otherwise I can do it myself and I'd still come out cheaper...

Sorry, but I can't help you any further (I don't want to start wars with any BHW member cause I eat my bread from this forum for now). But like @FriendlyPufferfish said, you have a lot of reading to do on how SEO works, and it's for your own good to do it. Even if you'll never do SEO yourself (who would with that money?) at least you will avoid disappointments like this in the future.

Good luck, my friend! And seriously, start learning how SEO works if you have time. If not.... hmm, I don't know how you can avoid getting milked of so much money in the future.

Checked the difficulty of the keyword. It is "Easy".

Such a waste of money. You could buy lots of awesome articles for your website. As everybody knows that content is king. These days google just rank those site who publish content on daily bases. I hope you gonna recover your money from somewhere else.

Do you mean like the Power Pages which I had ordered? I had ordered 10,000 keyword articles for my blog page.

Ahrefs difficulty is upside down.

If i had paid 4k and 3 months later I'm still in the same position, I would turn into Dog The Bounty Hunter and go and claw that money back somehow. You've been taken for a weird ride...

just so you know, keyword difficulty is a tricky subject, and no one can simply give you a definite score. ahrefs's score can be a bit of a guide, but it can happen that a keyword appears as easy, but it's actually quite hard.

on the topic of keyword difficulty (this will be useful to you if you are planning on making more pages/blogs):
https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/seo-keyword-research-101-a-lengthyyyyyy-guide.1300214/https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/method-complete-kgr-strategy.1324182/you can also read the guides of @RealDaddy on ahrefs. has a lot of free

about SEO, you have on page and off-page optimization. usually, both are necessary, don't slack on on-page stuff
https://ahrefs.com/blog/on-page-seo/

as for off-page SEO (basically, links), its a long topic, the search bar is your friend. users like @t0mmy or @digitalgeckos are the ones that come to mind on the topic of seo.

to be honest, you don't need to master all this stuff if you are already running a business. but at least give it a read and understand the basics so that you can distinguish the value of what its offered to you.

edit: if you are truly willing to learn, here is a long ass guide. https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/new-to-bhw-and-seo-this-is-for-you.1243123/
