I have spent 14800 hours in the market, these are the principles I have learned

1. Don't buy any coin/token that you can't sleep well after buying.
2. Lengind/stake/high profits/high leverage is the cause of the market crash. Let's look back at 2017 & 2022. Crypto winter would not have come if people had not been too greedy for high profits & used excessive leverage.
3. Always ensure #BTC & ETH account for at least 60% of the portfolio. Because you will always have the opportunity to grow again. With Altcoin, not sure.
4. Never sell out of BTC & never run out of stablecoins. The opportunity is always there if you have BTC & USDT
5. It doesn't matter how much money you make in the crypto market. What matters is how much money you take out of the crypto market

Very helpful, if I knew it early I wouldn't have lost money

the same story i had earlier
first i bought a mining rig that costs 1500$ then i mined ETH back on time, after that i managed to sell the rig and start trading with 4055$, for three months i achieved a total of 15k and i lost them all during dumps and crashes.

lessons that i learned :

dont be gready
never go all in on coins
always use SL (stop-loss)
listen to experienced one's
always look for Technical Analysis, the market is unpredicted.

I also lost some but in trading, and I 100% agree with your share, very helpful and useful

thanks for sharing this

What about tarot like reading charts? Isn't it the reason why all of that happens since the beginning of all stock markets? :D

If people were trading based on something tangible and real, instead of their beliefs projected on charts, maybe it wouldn't be that hardcore.

Why would you even worry about $15k...

And isn't it that in 15k hours you should have something to speak about other than loses?

You see, crypto is a trap than can waste your life.

If you spent 15k hours, just working at $50 an hour you'd make $750k.

I know, you're a multi-millionaire and you think of $15k...

These are contradicting each other.

You can't sleep well if you keep a lot of money in stablecoins.

The only thing you can sleep well with is bitcoin.

But not really as someone can steal your wallet and your house can be set on fire and your bitcoin secret keys are not stored well in many places underground and so on. :weep:

It does matter how much time you waste too. Because every minute spent trading and reading charts is WASTED.
2. Lengind/stake/high profits/high leverage is the cause of the market crash. Let's look back at 2017 & 2022. Crypto winter would not have come if people had not been too greedy for high profits & used excessive leverage.
Attributing everything to a single event is a common logical mistake and simply exaggeration.

The world is a lot more complicated than that and crypto market is a reflection of the real world.

It seems you haven't learned much in those 15000! hours.

---

Putting ETH and BTC in the same league is something that seems like a hope that there's second Bitcoin. No, there's no such thing.

May you tell us what is the size of your portfolio after around 7 years in this Industry?
Minus 15 thousand dollars. And minus 15 thousand hours.

Or maybe do something more reasonable than analyzing charts. :suspicious:

"Chart analysis to forecast future prices (rates) based on analysis of past price formation."

How does that make sense? It's predicting future based on math which doesn't reflect world.

Pretty solid advice! I'd also advise you manage risk on volatile coins. Cut losers quick!

Safe investment means btc preference. But the portfolio will never grow the way it can grow with good altcoins.

5 is so good! I'd suggest if you make profit of at least 5 times more of your own invested capital, take it out and net the profit.

My friend just lost 130,000 USDT on cryptocurrencies and he was crazy enough to do 50x contracts.
95% of people who lose money in crypto are over leveraged. They deposit $500, use 50-100x and get margin called on a small move.

Yes, $500 is the average monthly wage in our country, but once you engage in virtual currency, that money feels like just numbers.
