Hi guys,

I will send $5 via PayPal to the first person that is able to provide me with a way to help with an issue I am facing.

I have over 400 VAT invoices in PDF and I need to send in my tax returns,

On each PDF invoice I need to take the VAT amount and Add them up together with the other 399 PDFs VAT amount . how can I do this task quickly and easily?

I´m not sure i understood what you need. Can you be more specific ?
 
What OP is trying to say is he needs to get the VAT (which is written somewhere on the page) from all the 400 PDF files he have and get the sum of it. It's not about combining the PDFs.

I guess the only workaround there is to either copy it manually and paste to excel, then autosum. Alternatively, you can hire a VA to do the work. :)
 
Invest in accouting software that will calculate VAT and allow you to print off invoices for clients.

Sage as an example.

The vat is in the following format for example "3.12" however there are other numbers on the PDF for example total price of item. I will try your method you sent me in PM and let you know if it works.

I just called up quickbooks (alternative to Sage) unfortunately they are not able to scrape the VAT data from 400 pdfs and put them into the software.

Can you share 1 pdf file? so that i can try to solve your problem.
