4Months to 1'000$/Month Time & Location Freedom w/Fiverr [Journey]

Ok so it's been 10 days I launched...
so far: 4 sales 2 reviews, one of the buyers was trying to pretend he couldn't open the files and get a refund, then try to say he didint like the material and get a refund, I talked him out of it, but I'm still happy he hasnt left a negative review.

3 of those sales for 5$ and one for 20$. 2 of the sales are part of the 20$ gig which I'm mainly focused on.

That 20$ gig (starts at 5$ and tops at 20$) is now sitting midway on second page for what seems a semi-popular term. And its sitting in the middle of the first page of another semi-popular search term. Right now it's getting about 100 views a day.

There's another 5$ sale I plan on getting today from somebody that messaged me. Two other maybes on the 20$ gig.

I will be trying to reach the 10 sales treshold and achieve level 1 seller within 6-10 days, which should in theory increase conversions slightly and hopefully give me better rankings in the fiverr serps. In 10 days I plan on launching some advertising campaign for that 20$ gig, but first, I will add more slides to the gig itself as to better convince potential buyers, then I want to write a pdf with a related product that I'm an affiliate on and that goes hand in hand with my gig. Then I will spend a bit of money on advertising to get some more reviews.

I don't care that fiverr will take 20% of my income at this point... the main goal will not be to make money, although hopefully I don't loose money doing advertising so that I can do as much as possible, but the goal is rather to get enough reviews so that fiverr puts me on their first page so that way I can get more organic views and sales from fiverr.

I also got quite a few things to do, but I will update in a few days, hopefully I will be a level 1 seller by the next update or close!

5 sales yesterday and today, someone even left a 5$ tip!...coundnt believe it, I thanked them and gave em a free pdf!

✔Achieved level one seller today...very happy!

Gig rankings and views didin't seem to improve...Already got my eyes set on reaching level 2 seller, hopefully reaching that will help get my gigs higher in the fiverr serps.

So far we're two thirds into september. Stats so far;
  • Avg. Selling Price
    $7.92
  • Earned In September
    $60

Working hard on expanding a gig right now as fast as possible. I talked with this one person that has a decent list, and we agreed to do a joint venture. I will be giving them a special deal exclusive to his list plus give him all the revenue generated (only 4$/sale) and in exchange he will send an email blast to his list! Now who cares about not making money off of that... all I want from this deal is to get some reviews on this one gig! ...anything that can push me higher up the fiverr serps is great!

If you have the right products then yes its so possible. I wish you luck, but also list them on seller.gg and blast adverts on fb groups.Thank me later
Please what do you mean by seller.gg and how do you get list of facebook group where people will buy patronize you

http://www.toolsstar.com/ found this automation tool for promoting stuff to facebook groups. Apparently it runs on their own server with no downloads and you can shut your computer down and still have that working! Anyone tried it yet?

I will give this a shot in a few days when I finish writing some pdf's for the new gigs

Ok I haven't updated this thread in a long time...what happened is I got surrounded by too many 9 to 5 ers this holiday season (family and friends) for too long of a time and got side tracked and lost my momentum...watch your surroundings people! Now I got myself away from these people and back to living alone now which is very refreshing!

The initial goal of this journey was 1'000$ in 4 months. It's now been 6 months. Past 3 months average = 120$ a month, and last month I made 150$. It's slowly going up, but I need to accelerate it!

On the positive side, I reached level 2 seller and 50 reviews! Now working on adding 2-3 more gigs and adding upsells on my existing ones. Again, all gigs take less than 30 seconds to deliver, as it's only uploading files!

Is the tool for facebook group posting free? Please reply.
Yep it's free.

Edit: There is also paid option for 6$/month and you get reports to see how many clicks you're getting. Still haven't tried it though.

All the best for your journey. I have a query related to fiverr. One of my gigs was deleted there with message that a third party website wanted it to removed. I saw various other sellers selling the same gig and getting about 50-60 orders a month. Are they creating the gig after it is deleted by Fiverr ?

Did they give you a warning? I've seen lots of accounts get deleted because they would sell links to copied material. And sometimes I even see gigs doing "summary/reviews" of popular courses and get deleted.

My strategy is to pick a single vertical that I like and there is income potential...ie real estate, fitness, make money online guides, web design, seo services, etc. You can make a "core" product or service that makes you a lot of money per sale, then create several relevant gigs around that to get clicks through searches. You would want to brand your account too so that people would see you as a go to guy on fiverr for that particular niche.

Nice update,

How do you promote your Gigs?

Do you use any tools?

Do you use buyers request to get jobs?

Things were snowballing 2 weeks ago, had a 5$ gig ranked pretty high up on the page and was getting 1-2 orders a day but now sales have slumped ever since I received my first 1 star review on a gig with dozens of 5 star reviews... The reviewer called it a fraud and tried hard to make the gig look as bad as possible and tell others not to buy, yet when I offered him a refund, there was no answer. Also, it was from a new account created the same day as the order, and I was his only buy... account hasn't logged back in since...It was obviously a competitor, but what a nasty way to do business eh?

Custommer support wont take it off in contradiction to their own TOS "Feedback that violates our TOS would contain false statements or abuse towards the seller."

..Will have to fix it with my own hands!

Account is level 2 for now, with rating and response rate in the red... will see if it can still remain a lvl2 account tomorrow when levels get updated!

I've looked at buyer requests but I'm limited as to what I access from my own gig's categories and the buyer requests there don't look very attractive. Hey maybe I can sell them websites instead of what they were asking for? that remains to be seen.

I still don't promote or use tools for promotion. My method of getting sales is organically; people type keywords in fiverr and they find my gigs. I've mentionned earlier that fiverr gets 700 times less searches(Google total searches divided by 700). My top gig right now sells for 20$ with all the other gigs at 5$ and I have no upsells, so doing promotion would be hardly worth it in my opinion.

Right now I'm working on creating content for another 3 automated gigs where I can just deliver files upon an order. If I can do that, I would have around 10 automated gigs...and then I want to look into adding some high-ticket upsells!! Keep in mind, all these gigs are in the same niche, so I am slowly trying to become an authority in that sector. I see it over and over again on fiverr, ppl that dominate niches are able to command higher prices!

UPDATE: Just realized that in a few months, it will be 2 years that I've started this journey and I still haven't reached my goal. It might sound ridiculous, but I am not stopping till I get to $1'000 or more

My best month so far was $500 in december. I have reached level 2, now got back to "no level" seller. What happened is I was taking too long delivering. Speed to delivering a gig is key to success in fiverr.

As I've said, my gigs are mostly files and not custom work. I will look into downloading these files on my iphone so I can deliver gigs even when I'm on the go.

Also something that's worked really good so far is being gratefull. Showing gratefullness when ppl order, thanking them for the opportunity to better their lives, thanking them and giving them extra gifts at the delivery stage. Some people that order tend to be in limited belief /war vs everyone mentality and will cause you trouble but gratefullness throughout your profile and communications will put them in a nice frame of mind and make your life easier as a seller

I've lowered some of my gigs from 10 and 15$ to 5$ a piece to stack up more reviews even if it might attract cheap clients that cause trouble. I have over 130+ reviews. Once I get to 200 reviews, I will remove all 5$ gigs as they attract way too much trouble.

The plan is to sell high ticket, high value & high quality stuff and only attract better clients that can afford things and not poor people that will dispute 5$ transactions. Selling high ticket items is the the easiest way to get high rankings in fiverr search as well.

I am working to get back to level 1 for the 15th so I can offer 15 gigs and explode my visibility in the fiverr search engines.
