If I connect to a 4G hotspot on my laptop can Google, Facebook see that it is me?
Can they see my phone number and information about my device?

Really curious about this.

No they won't see any thing about your phone . To remove all doubts regarding detection.. make sure to change ip on mobile, remove all google or facebook apps from phone or use a firewall in rooted mobile to restrict data and then connect to laptop . Mobile apps like facebook and google tend to connect all time through apps and may relate ip to your device .

Neither is a mac address guaranteed to be unique, nor is it trackable by the websites (normally, that is). mac is only useful for your ISP (so that they can bind you an ip, and know who is sending what packet) and your local network. It's not to be bothered about otherwise.

No need to worry about that...though can "not"...

But the truth is, the web is now completely transparent...ISP can easily know your browser history, your phone No...

They can only view the device signature and your IP address, nothing more intricate as far as I know
