So often I'm approached by people that always seem to have the same dream. "I hate my job and want to quit" they say.

Here is a basic step by step plan that I have used time and time again and some easy to make mistakes to watch out for.

1. Find basically any small niche market where someone is selling an ebook or online video series for anything from $27 - $97

(If you are knowledgeable about the market thats great if not you just plan on outsourcing some of your stuff.)

2. Use a tool like Jim Edwards "Most Burning Question" Wizard or Alex Mandossians Ask Database and put up a small 1 - 3 question survey.

(I usually ask these 3. 1-What is your toughest question about <<TOPIC>>.2-Would you rather be taught everything in a video, audio course or by reading a book, or by both like audio and book together.3-If you knew the information in the video would guarantee success what would its value be worth?)

3. Use pay per click marketing to drive traffic to your page until you have atleast 25 questions.

(If you cant afford ppc use articles or post in blogs and forums in your niche and make sure you modify your signature so people can get to your survey page)

4. Use the 25 questions as the basis for your new product and salesletter.

Thanks for the share OP, but my advice to all is to not quit your job (especially in the current economical state) until having at LEAST 3 steady streams of income coming in.

Good luck everyone $$$$ :sombrero:

NEVER quit ur job even if you start seeing money comming in.. Be confident that you are safe for the comming years...i feel the feeling of not being in a job now..

Okay, don't quit your job - just work for yourself. Isn't that why most of us are here? Don't quit your job if you are going to immediately be homeless, but quiting your day job and doing IM or starting an offline business is a worthy and attainable goal.

I say quit, then you will be force to put up or shut up and not be lazy thinking you have that comfort zone that you still have a check coming in step out of your comfort zone

I couldn't agree more. If you are in the position to quit i.e. you have no kids, you rent and you don't have any liabilities - then do it.

12 months ago I was an insurance broker uptown making $45k to sit on my ass. A year later I'm making an equal salary but working a lot less and in my pajamas for most of the day.
