It could be possibly that this account did some small follow/unfollow or used hashtags before it hit 20k followers, but there is yet any evidence for that. I only have data that shows after 20k followers.

But if this Instagram account still received a significant amount of likes and comments (which it did), then it will show up in other people's explore tab. That's how it's been growing.

But when you use fake likes and comments to garner those followers it's substantially less impressive. Still would like to see one instance of a lower-level account growing at that velocity.

OBviously that account growed using:
1- Payed Engagement groups
2- Bought Powerlikes
3- Bought Shoutouts

Or that user Samir Mezrahi, aka @samir, head of social at The Dodo, maybe he had some other big accounts and use them to help this one get into explore with powerlilkes.

Please don't fool newbies here telling them that following your instructions in first post they will grow like this in 1 month, ITS NOT POSSIBLE.

I'm not saying it's not possible, there just isn't any proof of it. Once we have proof we can start analyzing how to replicate it. But saying things like this don't prove anything. If things are obvious, we should be able to see the proof. Right?

One of the biggest cancers on this forum are the people making blanket statements that don't have a legitimate argument to back it up. You can go viral without buying your way to the top. I've done it. It's possible for others to as well. This account is innocent until proven guilty. If you have actual facts, then we'll say this account bought its way to 100k followers in 3 months. Until then, we need to evaluate what it's doing right in order to achieve similar results.

I believe on the Twitter account they simply retweet the originals, and on their Instagram they screenshot the content. But yes, they don't tag the original owner or anything like that on Instagram.

Well, i've seen tons of these and most will stop at a certain at a certain amount of followers then grow slower, it's just a viral effect right now, happened to one of my accounts, grew similar numbers to this account and then it just topped off and now seeing only about 200-500 per day. I've seen my friends go from 3-5k followers/day and it's topped out right now at about ~350k and it's growing about 500/day too now.

I feel like this is a case where an account is being spoon fed followers from parent accounts. Just posting good content isn't a way to get featured on accounts with 1m+ followers. Considering this guys background I would bet he has a friend or two running some of these 1m+ accounts and are featuring him to boost him. The support of giant accounts helps in tons of ways, not just exposure through features.
